Always the best fried chicken and friendly service. Ambiance is a minimart but better. The cow is a nice touch and enjoy seeing it everywhere.

Great liquor and wine selection great meat cutting and selection of meat. And the deli is always a great stop for a quick lunch sandwich on the go.

Great prices, and we went for the shrimp Poeboys I paid less than $20 for Two of them. One alone cast $24 with tax at other places. They have the best finger sandwiches. Great for parties, they have a lady that makes all the party trays and she does a beautiful job the staff are very nice and always willing to help! Must tri!

My husband has been trying more and more to eat Halal as much as possible. In this area, options are limited, but Saia's is the ONLY place (without crossing the causeway) that offers a limited selection of halal meat for purchase. The quality of the meat is excellent and the staff there was very understanding and receptive to our questions when we called to inquire. The store also has a huge array of alcohol, prepared foods and local delicacies for purchase. Since moving a month ago, this is the only place we have purchased meat and the pricing was comparable, if not better, than even Sam's Club and excellent quality. Give them a try if you are in need of an economical way of feeding your family without compromising on quality.

They had a decent Northshore Poboy. Unique store with a large selection of alcoholic beverages and a nice selection of butchered meats in the back.

Bought a half filet at $14.99They asked if I wanted it trimmedNo explanation. I said ok this time. Usually I trim it myself. They "trimmed" it. Sticker said 2.51 poundsMy scale said 1.75 pounds$11 in trimmings. Not offered to me. REAL PRICE $21.497/pound. Meat manager was not concerned about it when I called. That's what he said. Price trimmed is $21.50/pound. Of course I should know that because he knows it?Said "bring it back. I'll replace it. "Easy for him to say. He goes there everyday or so. I told him I live across town and I only pass by there about 4x/yr. He could have apologized for not having his staff offer the customer the trimmings. He could have offered to send me a $10 check to make up a little difference. Great meat market, some of the best prices on wine on the northshore. Been in business a long time.

Love all there meats nothing like Winn Dixie or Walmart or rouses. Fresh and there fried chicken and their Poboys are very good. Love the fried bell peppers.

Saia's has an excellent old school meat market where you can get steaks cut to order along with homemade sausages and hard to find items like rabbit. I went in a couple of days ago and got the butcher to cut me a 24oz Prime porterhouse for my wife's birthday and the damned thing came out like butter. Pretty good booze selection and the deli does poboys and old fashioned fried chicken including Gizzards! I recommend the place for all of your meat, booze and fried chicken needs.
