We came here for their great happy hour, which is Sunday through Friday 3 to 6. It is only at the bar and patio area and the patio space is pretty large. The bar is a decent size as well and the lights are dim setting the mood. I was greeted by so many bar staff, each one seems to want to introduce themselves as they passed by, it was definitely a friendly bar staff. The patrons were pretty friendly as well. We ordered a little bit of everything since this was our first time here, I wanted to see what they had to offer. We order a couple of glasses of red wine - they Coppola red so $6 per glass was good value. Also ordered the sliders, the frittes, the steak tar tar, and the fritto mistro which is basically a really good helping of delicious fried seafood. The shrimp and the fish were so very good! The batter and the spice were perfect. The frittes were great and loved the sauce that came with it, we actually ordered more frittes when our steak tar tar never showed. The sliders were good too, I loved the brioche bun and again the size of the sliders - there were two - were quite a decent size. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and have been wanting to go back. Thanks for a wonderful happy hour, please don't change a thing!

The space was warm and inviting. Holiday decor was gorgeous. It was very quiet during lunch as it was only a few tables with older people dining in the main area. There was a group in one of the private areas but it didn't disturb the dining room. I started with bread service and the signature cocktail The Rizz. Really refreshing and great flavors + it's aesthetically pleasing to watch the pour lol. The crab stuffed mushrooms were so well done. Full of quality crab meat, seasoned to perfection. The pasta special was one for the books 5/5! The oyster blt was mind blowing. It was huge and overwhelming upon arrival but we were up for the challenge and loved each bite. The desserts were nicely balanced with rich flavors that were the star of the show without being overpowered but sweetness. Both of our servers were attentive and happy to serve us. I highly recommend the oysters for an appetizer and the seafood lasagna for main course. The Brussels sprouts are good especially if you like a charred taste. Our service was excellent. The waiter displayed her knowledge of the chef specials by explaining the dish when asked. There is parking across the street which is not far from the front main entrance. The parking lot is also monitored by security and he will greet you to let you know he's doing his job. We had the pleasure of having a private party so we booked rhetorical back room. The main floor is dim lighting with enough seating.

My usual for lunch is their "paste especial". It's always, always exceptional.I dine early. Nobody knows what it is, until I arrive and order it.And then, when it's served, whether by pesto or puttanesca, or marinara, it seduces you.Their food is sexy. White tablecloths too.

Rizzutos is the quintessential Italian restaurant located in Lakeview. It is known for their delicious house made red gravy, pasta, and some delicious steaks as well. And on Thursday nights they have a variety of their awesome martinis for $7 and their famous meatballs are served all night. Y'all those meatballs in that red gravy is .

Great place but just didn't deliver on the food. Don't order the jumbo lump crab! It's not even close to jumbo or lump. The veal was good Fettuccine is much better at Impastatos. And the Italian creme cake was the biggest disappointment.

This was our second visit to Rizzuto, with the last being 7/2022. Unfortunately, that review was on my old account but it was 5 stars as well. Melissa was our server and she was very pleasant, knowledgeable of the menu and she had memorized every detail of each special. Wow. Impressive for a 6pm dining time. We had Carlos 2 years ago and he was great as wellWe have found impeccable service coupled with amazing food. The only thing that we have eaten here that we did not find incredible was the brisket salad. It is cold brisket a top Romain lettuce. No amount of salad dressing made this delicious. But let's talk about everything else we ordered that was amazing. You must get the meatball appetizer. This is the lightest, fluffiest meatball I have ever eaten. It is made with ribeye and sits on a whipped Ricotta with the most incredible red sauce you have ever put on your tongue. The last time we came, we had the seafood manicotti and it was wonderful but this time we opted for the Alfredo, the meatball and the Brussels sprouts. The vinaigrette on those brussels sprouts makes you want to lick the plate.For our entrées, Jessica had the chicken Parmesan, but she opted for pappardelle tossed in Alfredo for her side. This is the most perfectly thin, but yet moist chicken breast with just the right amount of breadcrumb coating covered in that ridiculously delicious red sauce. Mike had the shrimp fra diavolo. It has homemade pasta with fresh large shrimp. Just the right amount of spice. I had the seafood lasagna. Rich and decadentJT had the filet. Mike ate some of it also. They both agreed that it was a delicious steak, but it was quite undercooked. Yes, he could have sent it back but instead he ate what he could and then Mike ate the rest of it.Jessica and I split a chopped salad and as I mentioned earlier about the brisket salad, JT ordered it and it was very disappointing. The chopped salad is mouth watering. The creamiest Gorgonzola. Soooooo good!!The cannoli is the best cannoli I've ever had in the US. Sometimes people can put a tad too much cinnamon. This has the creamiest filling with just the right amount of cinnamon in the flakiest, most delightful pastry ever. This time, someone had left the cake layers in the oven a bit too long, but we know from last time that it can be very moist. The frosting is incredible. JT had the chocolate cheesecake which is made in house, as are all of their desserts and it was so smooth and creamy. Every person that we encountered from the moment we came through the door was very professional and courteous. This restaurant appears to be in an older home and it has such a nice cozy feel. My only regret is that I did not get the spaghetti and meatballs that I ordered two years ago. I dream about their scrumptious meatballs.You have to try this place. I don't think we will ever eat at Irene's again. There, I said it. No pics this time. How dare me!! We dove right in!

Went for lunch today. Enjoyed the food very much but was VERY disappointed when I received the bill and was charged for a side salad that I thought came with the meal. I asked the waitress and she said it is because I ordered Blue Cheese dressing and there is an upcharge ($4). I was not told that when I ordered my meal. I paid my bill and when leaving the ladies at the door asked how my meal was and I explained good except for the charge for the blue cheese dressing. They were not aware of that. They did refund my money so please patrons beware!!!

I was looking forward to going here since the Rizzuto's on the west bank closed and the service and food was always fantastic.Extremely disappointed at this location. Service was horrible. Ordered drinks and I'm they took 45 minutes to arrive. We are sure that Jordan our waiter was the issue although he kept blaming it on the bar being swamped. However when we walked to the bar to order a drink it came right away. He also got our orders incorrect and since we were there for an after wedding dinner the bride and grooms meal didn't even arrive. We will not return. Bring back the WestBank location with their excellent service and food!
