Great find off the beaten path. So many great options but the gumbo was fantastic. I had never added potato salad and it added a great creamy balance. The hushpuppies were crisp and flavorful with a sweet coating, also lovely. I didn't try the drinks, but so many offerings at the bar.

Wow!! This place is new since I was last in Nola and wow is is special! The oysters were fresh and plump, with a delicious southeast Asian vinegar and they were $1 off on happy hour! The Slovenian orange wine was only $9 on happy hour and the crawfish tossed in chili butter were fabulous. My fiancé said the crawfish is the best he's ever had, and he's very picky! Def check this place out!

The best seafood in New Orleans. Obviously fresh (it's on ice in the case) and perfectly cooked. Not sure what could be better.

Absolutely incredible. The freshest, best seafood I've ever had in New Orleans and possibly the entire United States. Cannot miss out!

Well, my old seafood spot has changed hands and I decided to check it out. I ordered the shrimp po boy and it was huge. Shrimps were big and fried just right. Huge French bread and I had their Cole slaw. Everything was fresh. Ambiance casual and pretty much the same and the service was good. Good to see that change is not always bad.... Great place for a po boy and hoping the have crawfish boils soon...

I saw that Porgy's had soft shell crabs yesterday and was hoping they had a few left today for lunch. We got 6 oysters to start 3 Area 3 oysters and 3 oysters from Grand Isle. They were delicious and came with this fabulous mignonette, crackers and cocktail sauce. Those went down quickly! Then we split a fried soft shell crab sandwich which was on special. It came on the muffuletta bread with caper dill crema, grilled creole tomato, and shaved red onion. It was divine! Best fried soft shell crab sandwich I've ever had. Finished off with another 6 oysters. Great lunch!!

Customer service was fantastic but the food was over priced and it wasn't worth the money. The ambiance wasn't that good either. But overall I'll give it a 3/10. But the service was fantastic don't get me wrong.

Been excited to try this place since first hearing what was filling in the building that sat empty a while. We tried a few different things to share since it was our first time. Started with the Sicilian sashimi. It was three different cuts of fish with olive oil and some cut up veggies. Each one was really good. It was light and refreshing tons of flavor for something with relatively few ingredients. Great app to start off your meal. Next we got the catfish poboy and a side of rice and gravy. The poboy was stacked. Hard to even get your mouth around. It came with a really good herb mayo. Fried catfish itself was good ate what fell off with some ketchup and hot sauce. The rice and gravy is one of the sides on the menu and kinda just ordered to make sure there was enough food to fill us up. That was some of the best gravy I've had in a while. It was very dark and dense. Will definitely be back to try more.

Off the charts excellent. By way of cred for this review: I grew up on the Chesapeake Bay, have worked as an oyster shucker, and have eaten at several of the premier sushi restaurants around the world. I am also a soul food (both US and Jewish) aficionado and have sought out the best spots around the US and Europe. We started with soul food: the smoked fish spread made with pompano, and fried Collars (no longer shown on the menu, so ask for them). Collars are a cut from behind the gills , especially rich and fatty. Both dishes were excellent. On to oysters. The three types of bottom caught oysters were very tasty and shucked perfectly. All were small but plump. Two types were slightly sweet. One was neutral, a bit briny. None were very briny -- perhaps due to recent rains. We didn't try the fourth type offered -- a big farmed oyster. The oysters were reasonably priced. The piece de resistance was the Sicilian style crude, a medley of porgy (two varieties), pompano, and two other fish that I don't recall. I hadn't had porgy sashimi before -- yum... rich, buttery, nicely dense texture. The pompano was exceptional. I loved the Mediterranean inspired preparation with balsamic vinegar and bits of strawberry and either shallot or onion. The server who also took our order couldn't have been nicer. Ambiance: if you like a classic small seafood market with a few tables, Parisien style, you'll love this place. Excellent mocktails. Small selection of wines well paired with the seafood. I can't wait to return!
