PO Boy Depot

Forgot to snap a picture of my food. This is a decent poboy spot but not the best I've ever had. I am on the hunt for the best poboy on the Westbank but I'm still looking. While the poboy is overflowing with shrimp, the shrimp are pretty small (think popcorn shrimp ) and not high quality. I also had some shells still on my fried shrimp. Food did come quick and the service wasn't bad. This isn't a gas station but more like a convenient type store. I'd try them again but nothing to rave about. I will say it was pretty cheap.

Went here a while back when I visited my family...my sister ordered a few PO boys from here...and the weren't that bad...my order was ready when I arrived...so I didn't have to wait...the shrimp were a nice size...and they gave you enough that it overflowed the sandwich...it's a little gas station type store...but the food is ready good...I will return

Love this place! My favorite poboys on the WestBank! We stopped by the other day after walking through Jean Lafitte National Park, picked up some poboys and ate them at Pard playground. Made for the perfect day!

Prices are reasonable and they give you A LOT of shrimp in the po boy. People are very nice and it appears that a lot of regulars go here. I would normally give them four stars, but after the shrimp was fried, they dumped it into a cardboard box, then scooped it up into the roll -- this is not a sanitary way to handle fried food.

Ya know the saying, "don't judge a book by its cover." Well that applies to this little hidden spot in the middle of Estelle neighborhood. I've drove by this place numerous times and decided to place a pick up order one evening. The lady on the phone was nice and even offer to make the ham and cheese poboy hot. It usually comes cold. The taste was a little too salty, but probably from the ham. I ordered a shrimp poboy with extra crispy fries. It was all pretty good! The bread was soft with a touch of crispiness on the outside. The fries was extra crispy per my request. They definitely overstuff the poboys! Well worth the money. From what my bf said, the inside was pretty clean and cashier was friendly!

Getting my shrimp on bun before I get home....once a week! Love them! Po Boy Depot has great food, fast and is cooked by the nicest people.

Tried them out twice, the food was fresh and hot both times. Very delicious, definitely will be back!

Shrimp was delicious but the bread has a funny smell, like maybe stored with fish poop next to it? Also was a bit stale but looked like it had potentially been really good, yesterday service was fine, took about 20 minutes to get my food. The place is set up like a gas station/liquor store. Also would not recommend the cheese fries just unsalted fries with nacho cheese.

Absolute FAVORITE poboy place on the westbank. We've ordered poboys from here several times and each time was equally delicious! Highly recommend!
