I'm torn. Cute place with a beautiful courtyard. But our gin fizz took 30 minutes on a slow night after saying it would take 15. And they charge an extra service fee. That makes no sense! Just charge more for a drink. Ugh. Servers were barely ok. No one came by to check on us or refill our water. Just not so impressed.

During my last visit to New Orleans, I stopped in here a few times for drinks. It's located inside the Celestine, which is a small boutique hotel. The quaint little bar has lots of charm. The courtyard is serene & cozy - proving the perfect refuge from Bourbon St. While sitting in the courtyard I happen to notice a wrought iron gate that said The Court of the Two Sisters. I peeked through and sure enough the restaurant was on the other side. I'm curious to know if at one time this building also belonged to the sisters. If you plan your visit right, you might hear the jazz band playing during brunch. They don't serve food but the menus have a QR code so you can order from The Will & The Way, which is next door. The cocktail menu features NOLA Classics & house specialties, but the skilled mixologists behind the bar can whip up anything your heart desires. If you want to splurge order from the Reserve Menu, where top shelf libations range from $42 to $75.

Happened to find this place just by chance! Lucky us! We were looking for something a little quieter with handcrafted cocktails and this definitely hit the mark. Bonus is that there is a lovely courtyard that takes you out of the hustle and bustle of Bourbon Street. Our waitress was nice and chatted with us about places to eat dinner. You can order through your phone and the restaurant next door, The Will and The Way will deliver it to your table. We didn't take that option but the menu did look nice. Amongst our small group, we had a Pimms Cup, a French 75, and a Sazerac. If you are looking for a spot for drinks that has a peaceful setting with cocktails that aren't in a plastic cup then this is your place.

First time in New Orleans and stumbled onto Peychaud's after dinner. The venue has a nice cozy vibe and offers an array of unique drinks that should cater to whatever you're in the mood for. And, if you're looking for a place away from the Bourbon Street crowd, give this place a shot. Didn't get to capture pics of the interior as it was dark but they have a nice patio area in the back as captured by others who were here during the daytime. But... I did scan the whole menu so check out my pics!

Peychaud's is a quiet place off of Bourbon Street. It it very closely located to the bar The Will and The Way. So go here have a great drink and sit awhile. This place has a lovely courtyard. When I visited the place was quiet so it made it easy to have a drink or 2 and enjoy a conversation with my husband. The service here is nice, friendly and welcoming. Go and enjoy your time while relaxing in a welcoming atmosphere.

We were told about this place by a friend that indicated it's a "must do" when in NOLA, as we love fancy cocktails. We also saw it recognized as one of the best cocktail bars in North America, so we knew we had to go! Overall, the level of care put into the drink by the expert mixologists was outstanding. While it didn't make my top 10 favorite cocktail/mixology bars, it's worth going if you're in the area and want a fantastic cocktail and a bit of history. The spot is pretty small, but we got their early enough that a large group of us were able to take the one big table in the front. Cocktails are pricey, but the mixology required is the reason for the price. At the high end, drink can cost around $45-75 (at $75, that's a drink made for 2). The Reserve Sazerac is $45 and the Absinthe Suissesse was $35. But don't worry, there are drinks for around the $15 dollar mark if that's more budget friendly. The Ojen Frappe was awesome and had a bit of a liquorish flavor, similar to absinthe, and was a bit sweet. Definitely a must try if you're into that flavor. Boukman Punch was another favorite at the table, as was the Ice Pick and the Perla cocktail. Peychaud's does not sell food, but they allow deliveries from next door. This is a nice quieter spot away from the hustle of Bourbon street. Great place to meet a friend to catch up for a drink. The courtyard is nice if it's not too humid out!

You would never believe, lounging in the courtyard next to the fountain, that this place is half a block off Bourbon Street. This beautiful little cocktail bar with its peaceful courtyard, is an oasis of calm in a busy city. That the oasis comes with absolutely delectable cocktails only makes it that much more delightful. We were there for several hours, quietly nursing a succession of drinks and talking, and honestly only left because we were tired.Anything on the menu will be delightful, we particularly recommend the punch and the Irish coffee, but if you're just not feeling anything, ask the bartender for something special to suit the mood. I also had a Bijou (Oh yes, they still have Chartreuse) and a Corpse reviver, which were truly delightful and which went really well with the food from the Will and the Way next door (they'll deliver appetizers if you order off a specific spot of their menu). I will absolutely be back the next time in town.

Highlight of our trip and the upscale, expert level mixology bar we were trying to find! This place makes me feel sad that some people in the world will never experience these amazing drinks. It's a cozy cocktail bar where you can talk to each other. They have old school, New Orleans cocktails. We had the Hurricane (one of the best drinks I've ever had. If you tried hurricanes elsewhere and hated them, please try this one. You won't be disappointed) the Sazarac (a must), Boukman Punch, and Brandy milk punch. We also got to try the Vieux Carre and the peychaud's fizz (he gave us a sample). All were amazing and we would order again. Especially the hurricane and Sazarac. Please order those if you go here at any time. Only regret that we didn't find it sooner on our trip and take our friends! Also, not going back to order the Ojen frappe, another New Orleans classic. But that will be next time.

Came in for a vieux carre and it did not disappoint. Bonus! You can phone order food from The Will and the Way next door and they will bring it over. Husband got a sazerac, also sooo good.
