Pat Gallaghers 527

Everything from the entrance to the exit was definitely outstanding! I give Pat Gallagher 527 a 10/10. Our waitress, Jenni was very sweet, I give her a 10/10! Thanks for making our first experience at Pat Gallagher 527 a memorable experience. We will be back on our next visit to Mandeville! Not pictured: we had crab cakes as an appetizer, a wedged salad and a petite filet on a hot plate with sizzling butter.The ambience was great.

We usually love this restaurant but lately it's been off. Today a friend and I ate lunch she ordered catfish almondine and I got the Mediterranean salmon. When the dishes came out they looked beautiful and we couldn't wait to dive in. Mine was lukewarm and when I cut it open it was raw on the inside. My friends catfish,she said, tasted like it was cooked in old oil. We hadn't seen our server in quite some time so I enlisted the help of another server to get my salmon a little more cooked. I realized the original server never asked how I wanted it cooked. When it came back again t was not hot and all of the feta cheese, sun dried tomatoes and most of the capers were gone. The fish was still raw in the center at that point I gave up. We got there at noon and we left at 2:45 Our server was MIA during most of our meal. We finally gave up on ordering dessert and we had stayed longer talking hoping he'd ask. If we had been asked how our food was we would have gladly given feedback. We will likely go back but today was a huge disappointment in food and service.

W had come here for my rehearsal dinner before our wedding. I would give this 5 stars but the communication alone for such a special event was absolutely terrible. I tried multiple times to reach out and call just to verify everything and make sure we were all set. Calling in - don't expect to get a good response because they are clearly not interested in reviewing carefully details besides the number of people. I also emailed and didn't get a response until about 4 days AFTER the event. Aside from this, The food here is always absolutely amazing. Steaks perfectly cooked and food is always brought out in a timely manner. The cocktails are delicious as well!! Especially the espresso martini! Everyone that joined for this special occasion had nothing but good to say about the food and the actual service. Everyone from our party says they would return again!

We tried another Tammany Taste of Summer menu! This time on the western side of St. Tammany. We went to Pat Gallagher's 527 in Mandeville for a delicious treat!3 courses at $/ is a steal at this Mandeville favorite steakhouse! ---this is a house/fan favorite and is definitely a winner. ---if you like your roux right in the middle not too light or too dark...this is for you! ---y'all the flavors were spot on and it was perfectly seasoned and the green beans served with this were seasoned to perfection! ...y'all that cream sauce in between was and the chicken was moist not dry which is a common occurrence with chicken. ...served with vanilla ice cream and drizzled with chocolate and caramel sauce.

Went there for a rehearsal supper... everything was excellent... food, drink and service...top notch.

Haven't visited for a while but can't say why. Literally everything we ordered was outstanding, the lemon drop martini was perfect, the petite filet was cooked to perfection, the largest baked potato I've ever seen, the soft shell crab bisque was delicious. We finished with the key lime pie, also great. We were with another couple and they were equally as pleased with the meal and the service. Our server Clint was exceptional.

I had one of many lunches today at Pat Gallaghers 527 and as usual, the meal was simply glorious, and I mean truly sublime. I've not reviewed it before because honestly, I've taken it for granted and stop in often and conveniently sit at the bar. This is a better meal than many of the super premium New Orleans restaurants and at lunch, it's a third of the price. The employees are super friendly and the pacing of the meal is perfect. Every dish that we have ever been served, it clearly has just been prepared and rushed to me, and even in groups of four or more, none of the heat lamp tomfoolery that happens at many restaurants. The value is solid, $14 for 3 soup dishes that are exquisite and then only $16 for a crisp and hefty fried catfish pecan amandine. The fish was ultra fresh, super crisp, with crunchy pecans decorating the top. Even the green beans were made with pride as they were fresh and oh so tasty! (And I rarely eat vegetables).And here's the real kicker - and what compelled me to post today. In the post covid world, many things have changed and not in a good way. However, I come to Gallaghers and the employees are happy, they are dedicated to serving diners, the chefs are prideful of their dishes - just look at the images of my two dishes. I wish I could have photographed the gentleman's meal next to me - Steak and Lobster - it's presentation was equally gorgeous and the aromas coming my way, they were a culinary gift. It was hard not to ask this stranger if I could have a bite! One of the Northshore's Great Restaurants!

Delicious everyone I ago. Brenda was our server and she was fantastic. Never a disappointment. Best steak in the N. Shore.

I was made a Believer, this particular Gallagher's was the Truth! Everything was great, the food, the waiters and the ambiance! I figured I'd give them another shot and learned that all Gallagher's are not created equal. This one is Really Good!

Great serviceOutstanding food - hard to decide what to order. Very loud, difficult to have a conversation.
