Paco's Sandwich Shop

This place is really special. They make great sandwiches that are fresh and delicious. The Ruben is outstanding. I honestly have been here a few times, but hadn't wrote anything. Every single time I have eaten there, when I would leave out, one of the owners (the young fella with the hat) would say "Have a good day,". You know, there are plenty places you go where you know someone is just saying it because they have to. But his is always so genuine. And without fail. So when he told it to me yesterday, I made a mental note to write them a great review on Yelp. Cheers to small businesses with great food and genuine customer service!

First visit and was extremely impressed. Called in a Togo order and it was ready when I arrived. Ordered their Cuban and midnight sandwich, both very good. The Cuban crispy, and the pork extremely tender. Each sandwich perfectly presented, actually prepared to be pleasing to eye and the pallet.

Not very vegetarian friendly. I wish they had more soups than just the daily soup. The pastries are not that good, i'm not sure if they make them in store or buy them from a vendor but I wouldn't spend the $4 they charge for them. It's also pricey. For a steak sandwich combo, an extra drink, extra side of fries and a pastry it was $30. I'm not sure how our total added up that way but they're overcharging for something. I also asked for a receipt and all it said was the total. The sandwich was good but it tasted mushy because the lettuce was heated with everything else on the sandwich. They only sell their drinks in cans so no refills or anything, they don't offer anything else like tea or lemonade. The fries are really crunchy which I know some people like but personally I like them softer. My advice would be to have a more inclusive menu, and provide itemized receipts. The place is decorated nicely but it isn't cohesive the seating area is italian vibes, the kitchen is boho kind of and the menu is on a chalkboard.

Great sandwiches, great soup, great service. One of the best spots in Morgan City for sure!
