Hey y'all! Say hello to Orleans Brothers in New Orleans East. It is a family-owned, take-out restaurant that you just have to try.This husband and wife team has experienced great success since opening because of their phenomenal food. After leaving with my order of gumbo and crawfish pies, I was about to turn around to get me another crawfish pie. You can't eat just one! It was filling, flaky, and full of flavor. That gumbo though! No wonder it's award-winning!Their pralines were creamy, sweet, and filled with the perfect amount of pecans. I want more!

The food was good. Not the thicker roux gumbo I prefer but it was tasty. The crawfish pies were really good also. Three sizes, I got a personal and ate twice out of it. The service was on average a little slow but it was busy to be fair. No indoor seating so we took our food home. Didn't get any pictures. Will next time.

They have good gumbo, but they always selling out. They don't answer the phone, and when you drive way over there in the East they sold out. Why is it so hard to make enough to last the day. Good food, horrible management.

The gumbo was delicious. I enjoyed, it was kinda small but good. wish they had potatoes that day.

Bruh! Do not sleep on it. I could not partake in any of the amazing-smelling seafood dishes due to shellfish allergies but it exposed me to the yakamein. No soy sauce necessary. The broth was rich, the noodles were perfectly done, and the best part, the beef melted in your mouth. TENDER. I was so upset with myself I only got the small container. I will be going back. Also appreciated the chef coming from the kitchen to thank me and my coworker for our patience in waiting for our meal. It was worth it, hun. We'll definitely be back.

This place has amazing food. I had the seafood stuffed potato. The first time I had it the potato was not fluffed the way I liked. This time I mentioned it to the cashier and the owner came out and assured me I would like it and he was correct. The potato was perfect. Now let's talk about the pralines and the various flavors are so good. Your going to eat them all in one sitting.

They have some of the best gumbo & seafood potatoes I have ever tasted throughout my travels from the west coast to New York. Amazing customer service, family atmosphere, great prices, and parking was no issue. A definite must try if visiting or currently living in the area.

Some of the best gumbo I've ever had out of New Orleans! The service was fantastic.I will definitely be back!

Say if you want " Gumbo " like your grandma gumbo on Christmas Day and it ain't Christmas Day go to Orleans Brother NO CAP!!!
