Opelousas Chicken & Seafood

Nothing is Opelousas about this place! And this place has false advertisement! I ordered a catfish and shrimp plate and a chicken skewer. This was NOT catfish and I've lived in Louisiana all my life so I know catfish! It was fried okay but I couldn't get past the fake fish. The chicken skewer was tasty and a better option. Rice also wasn't bad. This is nothing more than gas station chain food and not the good gas stations. I won't be back!

I stumbled upon Opelousas Chicken after going to the nail salon next door. After devouring the fried chicken, I had a "where have you been all my life?" moment. We all have our go-to restaurants for fried chicken, and this is mine.

Food was decently priced. Crispy non greasy chicken and good fried rice. Service was fast.its your typical neighborhood food store. Nothing crazy special. If you need a filling plate for a decent price, can't go wrong.

The predecessor of the legendary Opelousas Point Supermarket (they're still open btw). This location offers many more menu items. They're all very delicious. My favorite to order is 2 chicken kabobs and fried rice plate. My second favorite is the butterfly shrimp and fried rice plate. Their wings are much larger than the original location and the flavor is "different". They make a conscious effort to serve near fresh food. There's multiple coolers and snacks, stocked with items to compliment your meal.I also like the multitude of payment options (Apple Pay, Tap to Pay, and Credit/Debit). This is something the sister store lacks (cash only).The biggest downside isn't food related, it's the parking lot. Goodluck, if you arrive during a meal rush. You'll either have to park on the street or hope someone is leaving out. It's due to the location sitting in a small strip mall. The staff are super friendly and pretty much answer any questions. Overall it's always a great experience, for me.

I have gotten takeout from here several times and it is always good. The rice seems to be a little different sometimes, maybe a different cook? But other than that, the seafood and chicken are consistently seasoned well and fried correctly. And the rice is usually really good. The meat pies are also great. I'll continue to get food from here!

Delicious, cleanly fried chicken with fresh sides...the fried rice was fantastic, will reorder!

CreDeeeeeety. Hhtttttuoowertyuuioppkkjhgfdazxccbnm Food is ALWAYS delicious!!! We go here often! My favorite is the chicken wings! Yummm! My kids like the shrimp and fish! Best fried rice also! Literally have tried almost everything on the menu, and HAVE NOT been disappointed! Definitely a must try!!!!

Best chicken on the WB! I love this place, quick easy service and the staff is so kind. My go to for a quick but tasty pick up!

Shrimp Fried Rice was okay it was a little hard ... Should not let rice sit out under heater that long

Not your ordinary Manchu/Golden Wings chicken! Good pricing and delicious food. If you're in the area check this place out.
