Neyow's XL Steakhouse

Made a dinner reservation for this place for an early birthday dinner and was not disappointed at all. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and is really quaint. The tables are decorated nicely and they have quite a few food options so that everyone can leave satisfied. Since we had eaten so much already in Nola I was not too hungry and opted for the salmon with fried shrimp on a bod of spinach and crawfish mac n cheese which was all so good. Our waitress was very nice and even brought me celebratory bread pudding for my birthday. At the end she even helped take our picture to commemorate this moment. Everything was great and I would definitely go back. My sisters enjoyed the beef medallions, the crab bisque and the sweet potatoes as well!!!

Definitely not blown away or impressed; looks good tho! Party of 12 for birthday dinner. Only have round tables so we needed 2 tables which was in a tight space on the 2nd floor along with another birthday celebration of 20. The music was either barely there or at times, not at all. I did not get pictures of most of the food that was ordered. Everything looked appetizing. They also have a more laid back restaurant next door which has better food options and more laid back. We only had 2 waiters for 32 people. As you can imagine things were moving slow. Feel like if I have a good drink itll make it all better. I ordered Hurricane Neyow's which is $35; includes7-shots Cane Rum Rum, pineapple juice, milgeo orange juice, cranberry. When i tell you it was just juice. They added more rum but i honestly feel like they didn't add it to begin with. The food was very bland. For the price this isn't worth it.

Wasn't prepared for the size of those dishes. Seriously y'all. They mean XL. Great space for a special occasion.

Very nice and cozy, music great drinks. Gumbo was pretty good just wasn't warm enough. But very friendly and unique. But it's extremely expensive and our reason for going to this was They didn't have a table next-door and offered us 15% off, but even though it was 15% off, we paid over $100 for a handful of food . The gumbo was not even hot. It was full of lots of sausage more than seafood or chicken and the chicken head. A kind of spoiled taste to it so I didn't finish my gumbo, but I did finish my appetizer which was the crabcake.

my entire family (20 ppl) ate there this evening and the service was mediocre to say the least. I had red snapper it was not seasoned, crawfish Mac in cheese flavorless, and lamb chops very dry. As we were getting ready to pay several cockroaches were crawling up the walls and beams. The manager never came out to address the party regarding the poor customer service, quality of food, or the roaches. Please reconsider supporting this establishment.

I love the combination of stuffed bell peppers, yams, cornbread stuffing, and or macaroni and cheese with baked chicken that feel like Grandma's. Must have the Gumbo and the succulent oysters. The desserts are delicious too.

Celebrated my fiance birthday the place was amazing they treated us like kings and queens everything was great will return

The Ambiance was pretty nice , the service was ok they forgot a few dishes.. the food was mid and very salty! The soup was very very tasteless!

We had to wait almost an hour for a reservation that was set almost weeks prior to. We were made to wait in a stairwell. Tables, glasses and flatware were dirty upon being seated. Multiple guests in our party order were incorrect. Three guests never received their food. The restaurant was not properly staffed to accommodate the reservations that were set. The two serves tried their best to accommodate, but you could tell they just wanted the night to be over as much as those dining. This was a total disaster to experience moments after getting married in such a beautiful city.

I went here for my 30th birthday & the food was not worth the money. Like every dish that we ordered was salty. I had the surf and turf & The pasta had a weird taste. The steak was really good tho! My friend had the lobster. Salty! My mama had to send her crab dip back because it was too salty to eat. For those prices I could've went to Fleming's and got my money's worth. The music was not it either, Jazz and funeral music. I guess they want to be classy or whatever but we could've settled for the regular Neyows. I love to support my black people but this is one that I'll never come back to! The upstairs was decorated nice tho!
