Fantastic!Amazing.Everything on the menu was primo.Service was meticulous and wonderful and attentive. Ask for Shawn.Loved the Hurricane Katrina drink.Fried shrimp cooked to perfection.Corn andI crab soup great!Setting and bathrooms and ambiance clean.

Delicious local food, casual. Great service. Local beer. Gumbo was really good as was the fried catfish with crawfish sauce! Recommended by the Enterprise Rental Car checkout lady!!

A first for me. Somewhere in New Orleans that I didn't care for the food too much. We arrived after the Bayou Classic and was told the wait was 90 minutes. Most parties left before getting seated so it didn't take us that long to get a table. The hostess was working her butt odd and did a good job. Our server was working hard too and was so sweet. Inside is typical. Nothing special but the have a nice patio which could be very helpful when there are long waits but they need to put a heater out there. We ordered voodoo crawfish rolls as an appetizer. They were the best thing I ate. I got the pecan catfish with a loaded baked potato and he got the fried seafood platter with onion rings. I would rate my food as just ok. I was impressed by the menu description but taste wise was a total fail. The potato was not done all the way through, nor was it hot enough to melt the hunk of butter in it. His food was decent. The fried shrimp I tasted was pretty good but they don't clean their shrimp (they even tell you that on the menu) so I wasn't ordering shrimp. Food came out fast. That was a bright spot. Overall, this is a spot I don't have to visit again.

Amazing food always, restaurant is cozy and always friendly staff, we visited for a dinner before an event downtown (we live in Metairie) and that night we had arrived around 430-445 because we thought that would be plenty of time to make it for a 6p arrival at the smoothie king center as our previous visits are always very quick. The restaurant wasn't empty but there were plenty of empty tables and less full that other visits.. but it took foreveeeeer to get our food. I literally ate about 10 bites before asking for a box and the check. The waitress was ok- but sadly didn't keep us posted on what was going on- she hid in the kitchen hallway as if to avoid questions. (I could see right into that hallway/kitchen) never came to check on us. We are really understanding food and clearly something was going on in the kitchen - but the lack of communication was disappointing. Now the food- AMAZING!! But sad we had to basically take it to go. It was still good the next day as leftovers but didn't spend $60 to eat leftovers.

New Orleans Food and Spirits is the place to eat in Metairie. The gumbo was great, loved both the Catfish and the Redfish.

New Orleans staple for sure. Parking was a little sketch and ducked off but doable. Visited on a Thursday night and the restaurant was maybe at 70% capacity, so a little noisy. Quick service and extremely knowledgeable about the menu and special modifications that can be made. We had the redfish ponchartrain and voodoo rolls! Oh & the cosmo was stronggggg and made me miss home

My fav restaurant in Metairie the portions are huge the staff is friendly the quality of food is impeccable I highly recommend

This was a great southern resturant! Folks were raving about the oysters (not our favorite, so we didn't order). However, the plate we ordered were great! Their blackened seasoning was sooo good. The resturant is very clean and can get pretty busy at times. Everyone there seemed to be having a great time with awesome conversations happening everywhere! If you're in the mood for some great food and atmosphere, this is a great spot to go!

Everything delicious!! This place makes you want to eat everything. My husband had stuffed eggplant and I had shrimp and oyster plate it was lunch time and the place was packed so we sat at the bar.the bartender was the best. Efficient, pleasant and made drinks and food appear from no where. I highly recommend this place.
