This place is always delicious and the service is amazing! The crawfish Pontchartrain pasta is absolutely delicious, along with the voodoo egg rolls. Everything on the menu is amazing! 10/10!

This local restaurant is tucked away in downtown Covington. The ambiance is relaxing and modern but quaint. The food never disappoints. I could put the Ponchatrain sauce on everything. Service is quick and everyone is helpful and welcoming.

Old house in downtown Covington that was converted into a restaurant. Monday through Friday there are specials to choose from and the lunch specials were very filling. The gumbo had a kick but not too bad. The hush puppies were so warm and perfectly cooked. The service was quick and helpful with the exception of the front desk greeter that was having a bad day or not sure. I had the gumbo and po boy shrimp sandwich and it was loaded with the right amount of shrimp. One person ordered the eggplant ponchatrain and it was so soft and delicious. This was the Friday special.

My spouse and I enjoyed a midweek lunch at New Orleans Food & Spirits in Covington. The restaurant is adjacent to downtown and it's pleasant traditional exterior is further enhanced inside by its contemporary but charming dining and sun rooms. The menu offers a number of southern Louisiana favorites, plus sandwiches, salads, and pastas. We had heard that the muffuletta was very good, so that's what we had. There was a special for a half muffuletta with gumbo and it was indeed excellent. Be advised that a half muffuletta is still a LOT of sandwich. The gumbo was also quite good. Service was rather slow, and perhaps somewhat inept, but friendly and welcoming. However, they were a little busy.We had no room for dessert, but several sounded especially tasty. Most notably, the white chocolate bread pudding. We will return to try it!

Lovely space, clean airy bright. Food was delicious!! A perfect place for fried seafood. I had a grilled snapper and it was very tasty.

My favorite restaurant in the area. Blackened red fish ponchartrain was amazing. The red fish was full of flavor and the crawfish pasta was as well. Such a great experience.

The food was great as always. We had a family group from this area as well as some in town from Texas. The service was great. Some of us had gumbo, voodoo rolls, hush puppies for appetizers. Entrees ranged from pecan catfish to Hawaiian pork chops. Everyone was pleased. Our server was fabulous.

Great food flavorful a d tender. Waitress was sweet and knowledgeable. Food was well prepared, and the price was very reasonable. Quaint homey feel . We went 25 miles out of the way but it was well worth the trip

We went for dinner on Wednesday and arrived there at 5:45 pm. We were immediately seated and were happy to hear that Happy Hour didn't stop until 6. Their Happy Hour had cocktails/wine that we were both interested in. It was not crowded or noisy and we had time to enjoy our cocktails, before being served our appetizer. We ordered the Voodoo crawfish rolls, which were delicious. I ordered the Swamp Pasta, which was a generous size, very creamy and good. My husband ordered the Stuffed Eggplant, which he enjoyed as well. We took portions of each home. We had the Key Lime Pie last and it was very good as well. Will definitely return.

Always such a great experience when we come here, which is frequent. Staff members are great, food is always spectacular (esp the Charbroiled oysters). Love the view of the trees from the large windows.
