Navarre's Famous King Cakes

Hands down, the Best King Cakes anywhere. Everyone (family, friends, and co-workers) that I have shared them with said the same.

Outstanding king cake! Definitely a must especially if you have to drive out of your way. The associates are so helpful, kind & suggestive. Held me a king cake flavor & helped me get to my car intain. Told me to bring car through drive through. ImDefinitely going back for more!!!

People go CRAZY for the kingcakes. They were good, but the donuts were amazing. Made me consider changing my profession and moving out to Springfield for a job. My husband had the egg, sausage biscuit and said definitely homemade. Worth the drive

I recently discovered Navarre's Famous King Cakes in Springfield. I like king cakes but generally find the fruit filled ones too sweet and the plain cinnamon ones too dry. But I LOVE cream cheese. So I tried a cream cheese filled cake (no fruit filling). It was the best king cake I've ever eaten-moist dough and not too sweet! I only wish they had mini cakes because I wanted to eat the entire large cake at one time (vacuum packed, froze most). Navarre's has many flavors and I plan to try their plain cinnamon next since I've already broken my diet resolution. I also plan to return and try their donuts and pastries after king cake season. Everything looked and smelled yummy and owner and staff were very friendly. Highly recommend!

We arrived at Navarre's around 930am from Baton Rouge, and there were no king cakes available at the moment but the gentleman in the back had a few coming out, so we got the strawberry and cream cheese and it was DELICIOUS. We also had some glazed donuts and an apple fritter and they were DELICIOUS as well. The young lady at the register was very friendly and accommodating, everyone was very friendly. This is the best King Cake I've ever eaten. Keep up the amazing work.

The absolute BEST king cakes in the local area! They are not just filled. They the fillings are baked. Consider this place a hidden gem. Great service. Very convenient drive through!

My wife loved the cream cheese king cake. She compared it to a cheesecake stuffed into a king cake.

Got the strawberry and Bavarian cream king cake and was disappointed to find they use the same sugary fruit filling used in jelly donuts. I had hoped a bakery in the heart of strawberry country would use real strawberries or strawberry jam in its king cake.
