Took a crew of kids and grands for a Saturday lunch at Nan's in Mandeville and it was a good experience. Nan's has a laid-back, casual Louisiana persona. Service was friendly and efficient and a good time was had by all. Nan's has an extensive menu of Louisiana favorites and specialty sandwiches, salads, burgers, pasta, etc. Iced tea, soft drinks, and a good choice of beers are available. Prices are competitive and servings are generous. I had the Ferdie's Po' Boy, which is a NOLA traditional combination of beef, ham, tomatoes, etc, on French bread, which was prepared fully dressed. Very good! Others had specialty burgers, tamales, etc. and all were good. With respect to ambiance, the dining room was colorful and neat. Restrooms could use a little attention and the outside dining area a little refurbishment.

Came for lunch during the week. I tried the roast beef po-boy with greens--it has a gorgeous appearance and is loaded. However, the tasted like it was made with a powdered gravy mix! Not a tasty gravy. I ordered extra mayo which did not appear nor was it on the sandwich. The greens were ok. We shared a spinach artichoke appetizer. It was good but not great. Service was good and there is plenty of parking. It was not crowded, probably due to rain. Clean and comfortable inside the restaurant.

The "Swiss Shroom" (Mushroom Swiss) burger is hands down the absolute BEST mushroom Swiss I have ever had in my life! Not bland like others. But be careful, it's addictive if you like mushroom Swiss burgers! Just finished one and I'm already thinking of when I can get the next one. Service was AWESOME too!! An all around GREAT experience!

ordered a shrimp poboy and everything about the order was bad. i found a hair that was partially fried into the shrimp. as soon as i opened the box i saw it. disgusting. moving on, the french bread wasn't toasted, they only put mayo on one side of the bread, and the french fries had 0 salt on them. i'm not being hyperbolic here. they didn't salt them at all. all around horrible experience.

My Dad and I were in town visiting the Fontainebleau state park and wanted something close by. The roast beef poboy was a large portion, the French bread was amazing along with the meat. My Dad got the Brussel sprouts and crawfish boudin egg rolls. They were both the best I've ever had! Thank you Nan's, we will be back!

Food wasn't great, it was cold and I could taste other foods that had been on the grill before hand. It was very dirty in there and our server seemed impatient and didn't want anything to do with me or my party. I work in the service industry myself and just personally did not have the best experience.

Cute little place. Very clean and cozy. We had the red beans and rice with sausage and it was fantastic! Our waitress was super nice and friendly. Excellent place to grab a bite to eat.

We all ordered burgers and fries. Let me say wow that was the best burger I've ever had. It was pure perfection!! The service was amazing. The place had a beachy feel to it which was awesome. It was a very laid back ambiance. Definitely worth the drive to check out.
