My favorites here are: The burger. It takes twenty minutes to cook, but it's pretty juicy and very tasty! The chicken quesadilla. It's featured as an appetizer, but you can order it as a meal. It's delicious. My friend swears by the muffuletta. It just looks amazing! It's a huge sandwich. I think two can split it. They also have daily lunch specials.

Prices at Mr Roos are modest for well done, classic sandwich's, salads and hot plates. They have all your friend favorites but can get grilled versions of fish, shrimp and oysters too. I like that! I had the grilled shrimp Caesar salad. It was 9,50 and had big grilled shrimp, fresh lettuce, lots of cheese and a tasty dressing. The hot plates look tasty and fresh.

Was not expecting to get all the food I received for the price I paid. Really good service.

While they don't always have the most courteous staff, you can definitely get an amazing bang for your buck here. Every portion size is more than sufficient for the price. When I last visited, I was feeling a little under the weather and decided to be adventurous - I NEVER eat gumbo at restaurants - their chicken and sausage gumbo was quite good! Needless to say, I was astounded. No yucky tomato base, roux based gumbo as God intended with ample amounts of chicken and sausage. Will get again! I had also ordered a turkey poboy in case the gumbo didn't work out; it was delicious per usual. I ordered way too much food and ate every last bit.Only 3 stars due to less than desirable ambience and discourteous staff.

I recommended that they post their menu on Yelp. I sill don't see it. I see a link to their website but no menu posted on Yelp. And they even replied and told me that they could find the menu... This is months later and I still don't see their menu posted on Yelp. I don't know maybe it's just me :-) Maybe a picture of a restaurant that has their menu posted ON YELP will help them see what could be helpful to us food shoppers

This is a good place for a quick and easy lunch in a typical Metry strip mall (I really love those strip malls...NOT). They have a good selection of appetizers, sides, salads, sandwiches, wraps, entrees, and desserts. I like their po boys, gumbo, and some of their seafood and Italian entrees. The really weak point here is the burger that I would probably never get again. Two really big negatives and pet peeves I have about this place are that:1) They only have mustard in the stupid little packets so if I'm not getting it to go they should have a squirt bottle of it like they do for the ketchup so I don't have to deal with the stupid little packets!2) They use "fountain" tea for the "fresh brewed" tea and that stuff is disgusting! I just don't really trust anyplace that won't take the time to brew their own tea!One really nice aspect of this place is that it opens at 10:30am so if you need to pick up some food earlier then you don't have to wait til 11am like most places. Most of the prices seem to be a good value and they also have a catering menu which seems to be fairly priced as well.

Seems like a very Mom and Pop type of place with their neighborhood regulars. You order at the counter and if you're dining in, they bring it to your table. On May 13th at 1:39pm I ordered a chicken caesar wrap for $6.65, the spinach wrap was extra$1.30 and I added bacon for $1 extra. The wrap tasted good but unfortunately I didn't get the bacon I paid for. I liked that they had sweet potatoes fries as an option(extra $2.75)I had an issue with the cashier handling my food. The food runner accidentally brought out my food on a plate instead of boxed to go. He brought it back to the kitchen. I waited a few more minute for it to be packed. He brought it out and left it on the counter. The cashier was out in the dinning room doing her side work. I told her, I think that's my order over there. If I hadn't said anything, who knows how long I would of waited for her to fill her sugar caddies until she realized my food was sitting right there. She got really offended that I told her my food was there, walked back with an attitude and was sour as she bagged it up. I had given her a $1 tip before experiencing her nasty attitude. What a waste of a DOLLAR! I would of given 3 maybe 4 stars if I hadn't had such an experience and felt cheated for what I paid for. This may have been an isolated incident, I don't know. This was my first and last time as a customer. I have no desire to ever go back there. There's so many other places in the vicinity that can serve a simple chicken Caesar wrap with out the attitude. I only tried it out because it was steps away. I hope the owner or management addresses the weakness in their customer service for the other customers that choose to patron their business.

Could not have found a better spot!!! Oh. My. Gosh!! I've had the shrimp poboy and the 6in is plenty for lunch and it's AMAZING and well-priced. But this post is about this Club salad!! Fried chicken and is SO good with ranch AND honey mustard. It's beautiful.
