Wings wings wings smoked wings. Been Going to this place on Bama for years but then they opened over here in Louisiana? What what! been here many times and just some solid smoked barbacue. Worth the stop

We were pleasantly surprised by this little corner joint in Metairie; if they had better red beans and rice, they'd get my coveted 5-star rating... LOLParticularly loved the red skin potato salad but everything was well-prepared and the food came out fast, something famished travelers appreciate! A cold beer with my food didn't hurt either. We will stop again the next time we're in the Big Easy.

Friendly cashier greeted us and took our order quickly. The food was ready in a timely manner. There are Big tvs in every corner of the dining room. The brisket was amazing! It was tender and very lean. I would have liked a sweet bbq sauce option. I'm not a fan of vinegar sauce. The two sides were great! (Lima beans & black eye peas,okra,tomatoes)Banana pudding tastes like it came from a box. Overall it was a great meal but next time I'll bring my sweet baby rays in my purse.

Good BBQ and beans. The potato salad could use a little more but still worthwhile. The service is good and our food was out quick.

So myself and wife were in this side of Metairie and had just dropped off our daughter and we found ourselves being hungry and my wife says to me "Baby you want BBQ? And I replied HECK YEA I DO lol". We both had seen Moe's a while back but, hadn't given it a chance until we went to Destin, Fl. That location was pretty good and we both wanted to see if this one was better and let me just say "Moe's BBQ in Metairie knocked it out the park". We came inside and was greeted instantly by the young lady at the register and we put in our order. My wife wanted brisket and unfortunately they were out but, they had Brisket sandwiches with 2 sides and a drink available and she got that. I came up to order and I was in the mood for some good wings and I ordered the Smoked Wings platter with 2 sides and a drink. Our sides were the Potato salad and Bakes beans and the Cabbage. Let me start off by saying that all the sides were DELICIOUS and both the Brisket sandwich and Smoked wings were both absolutely tasty and both great choices. I do recommend this place to anyone living in Metairie or passing by and we also got to meet the Chef and he was so humble and down to earth and told us about the Smoked Wings process and was very appreciative of our positive feedback. The Corn bread was delicious also btw :) Thank you again Moe's Original BBQ and y'all we be seeing us again soon and GOD BLESS

Amazing, on an adventure to try BBQ in every state. NC will always be my favorite, thus far, but this has to be second! Beats Kansas City any day. Also the cornbread was so great.

Simply a great BBQ spot. I highly recommend the smoked Turkey. It is the best I have ever had. The service is crazy fast. I ordered at the counter, and before I had finished filling my cup with Diet Coke, they were calling my name to pickup my order. Make sure you look at the daily side dishes on the chalkboard behind the register. They are in addition to their standard sides. Great food, great service at fair prices.

Food is always excellent, I've never been disappointed. Service is always phenomenal also. Ambiance is cool,never ate in...always on the run. This is my go to bbq place.

Our first visit to Moe's went very well. The selection of smoked meats was excellent. The number of sides was crazy.We tried the brisket (only available two days a week) and we had pulled pork. The brisket was tender and flavorful, but needed a good sweet sauce. The only sauce offered is served in bottles. It is a vinegar based sauce that was great on our pulled pork, but it is only fair on brisket.We had a chili side (excellent), a cheese grits side, a bean side, and a cucumber/watermelon salad (wow).The corn bread served is really good.Ambiance was typical of a barbecue joint with televisions on the walls... adequate.Our order was prepared quickly. Hope they can offer at least one more sauce choice.We will be back.

Driving through the neighborhood and the aroma drew me in. Pulled pork platter- sauce lacked flavor, meat was lukewarm instead of hot. Meat was shredded nicely, moist and had nice smokey flavor.SidesGreen beans tasted like my Grandma Ruby used to make, w/onions and pork. YumWhite beans and rice- nicely seasoned with pork. A tad salty.Cornbread- fantastic texture and was moist Banana pudding- wow, tasty but a bit too loose and sweet.Good portions and price.Service was friendly and food arrived quickly.Clean bathroom.
