Mikey's Donuts King

I haven't been here since high school so it's been time to come back. I got a beignet and a cinnamon roll, along with the pork-chop egg and rice. It's just like being at your grandma or auntie house eating breakfast on a Saturday morning. The beignet was soft and fresh with just the right amount of powder sugar and that cinnamon had some weight to it but it was really good. The pork chop was seasoned to perfection I seldomly eat pork and it was really good. The rice and eggs was good too not over seasoned. I didn't have to eat for the rest of the day after eating this for breakfast I was stuffed. The food is cooked to order and my wait wasn't extremely long.

Ordered door dash for king cakes for my employees. We received the wrong ones, but they were still good. I'll just go pick em up myself next time

I ordered a pork chop breakfast add cheese with half dozen doughnuts. First time and the service was okay. Speaker is broken and had to pull to window. Nobody was in the drive thru line but still felt rushed to place order. Pork chop breakfast was good but it didn't come with toast. I went to the window because on the website and delivery apps toast is included with meal. Cashier stated she'll have to charge me an extra $2.19 for toast. Grits barely had any cheese and charged almost $2 for cheese. Doughnuts taste exceptionally good. Will I come back? Maybe only for the doughnuts even though the breakfast was good.

Picking up something for a friend and he wanted this place so I decided what the heck. I am so glad I got something because lord was it good. For timers do not stop the the drive thru sign to order the speaker is not working. Pull to the window and order! Also the hours on here aren't correct I think they open about 5 am and close around 1. Y'all. This pork chop was pretty good. I could tell it had been marinating. It was a bit dry but it was good so I didn't care. I think that was first time I'd ever sucked on a bone. Aha. Anywho yes I do have sugar on my grits they were pretty tasty kinda thick. The eggs werent exactly scrambled more like a folded crepe but eggs. It definitely needs work, but it still was pretty good. I didn't eat the biscuit only because I was already full but nice and fluffy. I'll be back!

I went in search of a plain King's Cake. One of my teammates suggested Mikey's so I thought I would give them a try. I wasn't disappointed. I addition to the Kings Cake I decided to grab breakfast.Sausage patty, toast, eggs and potatoes with a side grits. The potatoes were well seasoned and the grits needed a touch of salt but otherwise delicious. The King's Cake amazing. I'm definitely coming back. I wanna give their pork chop sandwich a try.

This place is actually pretty good! It's old school and the flavors are great especially with the price. It really filled me up for the $6.60 I paid for the regular breakfast. The donuts and cinnamon rolls are also good.The only thing that made me give it a 4 star was the flavor of the sausage link. There wasn't a lot of spice in it, but everything else was delicious.

Much better than most - love the darkness of cooking the donut instead of barely cooking them like almost everywhere else. They ARE open on Sunday - they need to change online hours

This was the best sausage, egg and cheese biscuit I've had in a very long time that was given to me. It was amazing. I give him five stars .

I went to this business for the first time trying to support black businesses here n Baton Rouge I ordered eggs and rice with the pork chop it was HORRIBLE ‼‼ very salty and spicy rice was 5 days old pork chop was a end cut cheap as you can get plate was $16 s I didn't like it brought it back the owner/cook refused to make me anything else and gave me a refund and didn't even ask why I didn't like it I could have given him some gems to help grow his business but he just mean . Also got some donuts that was old and refried my husband grits was bland no seasoning nothing it was just bad and they also have false advertisement because half menu is not available ‼‼‼‼ Please don't waste time or money at this place ‼‼‼‼ I wish I could give zero stars
