Midcity Chicken and Poboy

This is a nice spot, small but comfortable. The staff is great and made good recommendations. The food was good, I would have like it to be a bit warmer considering my wait time, but they flavors were great. This was my first time ever having sweet chili and sweet heat wings and I enjoyed and would recommend both.

I was really craving a Poboy so I decided to give this spot a try! I had a pretty good experience. The service was pretty good the young ladies at the counter were nice. I ordered online so didn't have much of an interaction with anyone. The Resturant is sort of small so it's limited seating so I'm assuming most people get food to go. The food, We got the:Poboy- Got it fully dressed with ketchup & hot sauce the shrimp were fried to perfection, big, and seasoned real well. The Bread was soft and slightly chewy. Real nice sandwich.3 Types of Wings- The Buffalo tasted like your traditional buffalo sauce, very good. The Sweet Heat was a popular one I seen a lot of people talk about. It was very nice I love the mixture of spice and sweetness. The Lemon Pepper Hot was good as well I loved the lemon flavor with the slight heat from the hot sauce. I just wish it was a little more sauce. Fries- We had an order of regular fries which were decent and the order of Buffalo Ranch fries. They were nice as well both of the sauces work with wings it also went good with the fries. I will definitely be back to enjoy more of the menu!

How do you fix a chicken wing plate so pretty??! I don't know but they do it. I've been here a few times and it's our fav spot for consistently good wings. Cooked to order, so food is hot and fresh. The fries remind me of wing stop but fried harder with less sugar....they're perfect! Reasonably priced. A 10 piece combo is $14.99. Friendly service and a clean smaller spot with televisions.

I was in New Orleans for Essence Fest and decided to give this place a try, I learned about it on instagram. I'm not a huge wing person but sometimes I get a hankering for some. The place is just what you'd expect in a wing and sandwich shop. People are very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu.I ordered the 8 piece half Garlic Parmesan and half Lemon Pepper with fries. The wings were cooked to perfection, the fries were good and freshly made. The wings were a little salty for me but good. The restaurant is cozy with a few tables to eat if you like but it looks to be more of a pick up and go.

The wings are sooooooo good. The building is small but it looks nice inside. While we waited for our food they had little games you can play like uno, tic-tac-toe, and building blocks. The service was top tier.

I tried this place with a friend because of an IG post from @BukuTriece. This spot is super small (about 4 tables in a really compact space), so I'm glad it was just the two of us. It seems like take out is the best option, but we dined in. It gave homey corner store New Orleans vibes. It felt super nostalgic; the special was written on a chalk board (9.99 6 piece wings +mid city sauce and Cajun rice). You could get a cup of fruit punch, tea, or lemonade or a bottled drink. The fruit punch was the sugary throwback to childhood that I needed today. There was 90s-00s hip hop and RnB mix playing on the tv, and our table had Uno cards and Jenga. I got the special, the wings came out piping hot and were well seasoned. I was offered ranch, so I'm assuming whatever the midcity sauce is, they didn't have. The wings were a bit on the small side, but still good. I only tasted a small corner of the Cajun rice. I didn't know it would have shrimp, and I'm allergic. There was nothing Cajun about it. It reminded me a little of fried rice. My friend enjoyed her sweet heat wings and hot sausage po boy. She said Triece never lies. I'll go back and give them another try.

The wings are great. You can get all flats for $2.50 extra. The ranch fries are awesome too and the house made ranch tastes really good. The service is friendly and the place looks clean inside. I'd recommend it. Honest people and good food at a good price. Hard to find these days and in this economy but they are legit.

Amazing food and amazing service. What very good people making all their food fresh when you come in. Hot wings were great. But the crawfish pie was the winner!

Great wings... and it's one of my favs since they offer just a small up-charge for flats only. Having a variety of flavors also makes them a top choice.

Everything was delicious!!! Our portions were amazing and you tell that everything was made with love. Thank you Ms. Zelle and have a Happy Birthday!!! Came all the way from Texas for this food and it was worth the drive.
