Metry Diner

Back in July of 2022 was when I first visited the original location with a friend just as they had first opened. My initial impression of the joint was that it was a nice NOLA style diner with a bar inside serving a lot of traditional NOLA food and diner food classics. I ordered the crawfish etouffee and a cheeseburger with avocado while my dining companion had a club sandwich with a side of scrambled eggs. My crawfish etouffee could have been more spicy to my taste but was still good and my cheeseburger was a good experience. My dining companion enjoyed his sandwich and his eggs. Overall it was a positive experience and the food met our expectations. Since that time it seems they moved locations and then really dropped off in quality so they closed again and Google says they are now "temporarily closed" with no new location so far. Horrible customer service. The owner/manager hasn't been present when I needed help. They have to call or text and hope she gets back in touch with them. Terrible way to do business.Update: after going by twice and then leaving multiple bad reviews, it looks like they're finally doing something. It also looks like they weren't doing anything about my problem until I refused to go away.

Moving down to 3 stars- came again and ordered the biscuits. Menu says order before 10 and get it free if you don't receive your food within 15 minutes. Got it in over 20 and we brought it up, got an attitude (that's not really an issue) but my food was freezing cold so I asked for it to get warmed- got another attitude and watched them throw it in the microwave and were all annoyed about it. If my food was given in less than 15 minutes it probably wouldn't have been cold. Server was rude

This is a total rip off for a $18 shrimp salad. Unfortunately not the same place it use to be. What a shame...

Great little spot for breakfast. My husband had the biscuits & gravy as well as eggs & toast. He enjoyed the biscuits! Brunch burger. Really good & enjoyed those sweet potato fries!!

Still needs some work, nice place happy people. Slow, slow slow. 3 diners in before all had ordered before I walked in over 20 minutes on eggs, hash browns soggy, omelette was bland no seasoning or garnish. Sorry. I am hopeful but I will wish you good luck

Have been several times. Service and food was great at first, but after 3 more times the food is consistently cold. Cook makes eggs and lets them sit while cooking everything else. Eggs and bacon last 3 times have been refrigerator cold. Need to invest in heat lamp or learn to cook eggs after the porkchops. Wrong prices on menu and when brought up was told prices fluctuate day to day. Also, the menu says if you order biscuit sandwiches before 10 am, you get them in 15 minutes or free. Ours came nearly 25 minutes later and was basically told oh well. Not a good way to do business.

Food & service amazing . Will be back soon. Very great prices as well. Overall 10/10 for that area!!
