McClain's Pizzeria

My husband and I were visiting the area and wanted to find a good place for lunch along Mandeville Lakefront Park. I found McClain's on the map and checked Yelp. I have a sensitivity to gluten so I was delighted to find out they have a gluten free crust and a cauliflower crust. Today I chose the cauliflower crust and it was perfectly baked. My husband had their original dough and he said it was very good too. If you're looking for a fancy place, this isn't it. But if you're looking for a quirky little locally-owned restaurant with friendly and courteous staff and really good pizza, give McClain's a try. If we're ever in the area again we would definitely come back here.

Pizza was good, and the staff were friendly and willing to go the extra mile. The inside didn't seem the cleanest, and the decor simply wasn't my taste (I'm sure many enjoy it). Location is great if you want to catch a gorgeous lakefront sunset!

Have you been to McClains Pizza? Have you tried the artichoke dip? It is insanely delicious! I'm an artichoke dip snob because mine is pretty good but this one from McClains is beyond amazing! The blend of flavors is incredibly delectable! I would love to know how it's made!

Pretty good! The pizza was decent and very tasty. We also tried the salty balls, which are soft pretzel bits served with beer cheese. Those were amazing. The garlic bread is just pizza without the toppings. It was a bit dry and cracker like. Service was good and efficient. Didn't take long to get our order. Nice location by the water.

Great pizza spot in Mandeville Ms on the shore of Lake Ponchatrain. The ambiance and staff are outstanding. The menu is varied enough to satisfy any appetite. I highly recommend this place for the food, staff and atmosphere

1st time here, you order at the register and then find a seat, they have indoor and outdoor seating. It's a very casual fun environment. The main thing I don't care for is allowing dogs at the tables while eating, we watched a guy literally hold his dog in his arms the whole time while eating, to each his own, but while I'm eating, I don't care for it. The staff was great, we ordered a Greek salad and a medium combination pizza. Everything tasted great, and was very fresh and the prices were more comparable to eating out, loved the decorations probably because I recognized all of the bands!

Quality dough and toppings. Pizza 4.5 stars. Great selection of drinks all around, and friendly service. Great view from deck as well. Note on building: Owners of building need to work on the upkeep before it starts to deteriorate beyond recovery.

Pizza on pizza on pizza and views of the lake. The service is always great also. Good place for watching the sunset and football games.

We did carry out recently and the pizza was amazing. We couldn't believe we hadn't tried it earlier. We got the house salad and swamp thing. Highly recommend! We can't wait to take family/friends here.

1. Everything felt dirty. Tables, menus, bathrooms only had dish soap. 2. Food was ok at best. Not somewhere I would ever be interested in trying again. 3. Service was... decent. The guy that took my order was pleasant. I ordered water and had to go get my cup and fill it out of a water cooler like you see construction guys use. My food came out over 20 minutes after the others I ordered with.
