I came here for lunch one day at the recommendation of a coworker who said they had good burgers. It should be noted that this is first and foremost a bar/pool hall. They have a small section at the front with tables and a giant menu on the wall. I had the cheese burger which was pretty good. The problem I had was that this is a smoking establishment, which is not something I really want around when I'm eating. If your used to places that allow smoking it's probably not too bad at lunch. I did not reek of cigarette smoke when I left which was a concern, though I came at lunch. I suspect it's heavier at night.

The kind of place where you can get a no frills cheeseburger, a draft beer and David Allen Coe is on the stereo. Get the chili cheeseburger.

Max's is a pool hall and restaurant. There is a wood grain bar that separates the dining from the pool tables. Lunch crowd isn't too crazy. The menu is on the wall so don't ask for one LOL. The burgers are excellent! They only come with chips. They also have hotdogs and grilled chicken. If you enjoy good fresh burgers this is a good place to try.

Great place for burgers and cheap beer. Good vibes, friendly bartenders, clean restrooms...can't ask for much more!

Max's is a great place to have a burger, hang out with friends, shoot pool and have a few drinks. They offer burgers, cheeseburgers, double cheeseburgers, chili cheeseburgers, hot dogs, chicken sandwiches, ribeye sandwich and few other options. All the food is very reasonably priced and tasty. The bartenders are very friendly. The music is good and they have a jukebox that you can download & play whatever you want to hear. Plenty of pool tables and even a couple foosball tables in the back. There is usually a pool league on Wednesday nights and a foosball tournament on Thursday nights.Smoking is allowed in the building, and the music is loud enough to have a good time. Not a place for a quiet evening, but an excellent place to eat, drink & party.

Good food and nice bartenders. They were right next to my hotel and I just walked over every night for dinner and a few beers. Everyone in the place seemed friendly. Probably one of the friendliest places that I have been to in awhile.

Wow !If you want a late night plate this place works. After midnight I had a fantastic cheeseburger with everything on it and a couple cold ones. Good selection of beersThey have 6 choices of draft and 2 were empty not good however I had a great local beer instead
