Marie's Bar and Kitchen

I absolutely loved this place. Very much a locals spot, with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Dog friendly - provided the dogs are well behaved (and the two that were there at the same time as me definitely were. Fantastic, reasonably priced burgers, and very good fries. I had the Big Mack, I believe, sort of a reimagined Big Mac. The burgers were called "slap burgers" but they seemed like smash burgers, or at least that's what they're called in other cities. The pool table is free. We enjoyed that for a game and a half before our food was ready. Limited seating, but enough for the business. Colorful, nice patrons.The burger part took card. The bar only took cash, but there was an ATM with a reasonable $2.99 fee.

There is something special about this place and you feel it before you even walk in the door.Small, divey, cash only bar that fits perfectly into everything you want this city to be.The burgers are down a hall into another little area that smells great. They take cards at the burger joint.The menu is like 6 burgers long and fills every drunk burger craving you might have. Smashed to perfection with crispy, caramelized edges on a solid brioche bun.Staff and patrons alike are super friendly and they make you feel like a local right away.

I've been hearing about this place, and I was at another establishment having a low-volume conversation--or so I thought, ha ha. The waiter overheard us discussing burger options, and I mentioned Marie's. He enthusiastically jumped into the convo and said if we liked burgers, we should DEFINITELY try Marie's. So I took that as a sign to head on over after we finished our drinks.I pull up, hop out, to see what Marie's talking bout--#bars. This spot is dim and a dive bar for sure, but the bartender was light and polite as she directed me to the back of the building to place my burger order. Oh yeah, the bar is cash-only, and the ATM charges for withdrawals, so just keep that in mind if you want a drink. I settled on the OG, the Heater, fries, and their cheesecake. Everything was off the chain!!! They definitely get the FYE STAMP!

Corner, neighborhood bar. Divey but definitely not sketchy. Friendly and fast service. $7 Irish coffees! And great jukebox. Unfortunately, I was too full to try the burgers. Maybe next time. Remember, cash only.

The food service is great the bartender Friday night at 11:00 pm March 22 was not polite she was kinda rude. So I decided not to order a drink. So I am guessing due to her attitude 1 out 3 people think she's is bitchy and don't order drinks. I don't know why she had an attitude usually I get great service. Great service on food side and they were in a good mood. The bartender must have had a bad night.I wish this hadn't of happened I can no longer recommend this bar due to this rude bartender.I got a single patty burger it was a good tasting burger.

Best burgers in the city. Love Dana at the bar. Great dive bar with fantastic burgers. Slap burgers. Get the double OG. Or if you like it hot get the Heater burger

My husband and I saw this was close by and decided to give it a try! One of the BEST burgers I've had and their "Rum Punch" is better than a hurricane (in my opinion). We will definitely be back!

The burgers are to die for and the Bloody Mary was the best I've had. Ever. Cash only in the bar but ATM available on-site. Awesome neighborhood place.

What a great late-night place to go for a burger. The service is fast; the prices are great and the food is just what you want at a late hour. You can park on the street outside and walk right in. I can not wait to go back.

Place is really sketchy. A true dive bar and restaurant. Went inside to check out Original Slap Burger but atmosphere was not what we were looking for. Might be good for takeout but not for a seated meal. Not for me.
