Best cakes on the Northshore. My wife loves the messing cake with the pecan filling. They also make very good pastries.

What a quaint spot. Located in downtown Abita Springs, next to St Jane Da Chantal, its a gfeat place for a Sunday morning cup of coffee or to pock up pastries gor family dinner after mass. By 10am, the place was already out of some popular items but the gentleman at the counter suggested a chocolate crossaint. Equally flaky and buttery, the dark chovolate added a sweet contrast. I will be visiting regularly for a sweet treat.

This lady makes the best pies on the North Shore. Her pecan pie is incredible and I ordered one for Thanksgiving and Christmas. She does great cream puffs and eclairs and turtle cookies. It's just a sweet little neighborhood bakery in Abita Springs and I don't know if I could live without it.

In case the bakery deletes this review off their site I'd like everyone to see it before thinking about ordering a cake from Maole Street bakery in Abita Springs. Before you read this keep in mind I paid $75 for this cake. I came into the shop to order a cake for my gender reveal party and I told the lady I wanted edible glitter on one side of the cake and she suggested I use luster dust which is a fine glitter dust. I told her to put a princess crown or something girly on that side to represent a baby girl. I told her the other side of the cake I wanted guns because the theme of the gender reveal was guns and glitter. I told her my fiance likes to duck hunt and asked if she could add some ducks to that side as well. When I received the cake I was very disappointed. one side had a princess crown made of fondant that was carving in and almost looked like a jester hat. tTe other side had a blue pond of ducks and no guns. the ducks looked like my 5 year old niece made them with play dough. I was extremely dissappointed after seeing pics on their page and someone suggesting this bakery to me. When i told them it was supposed to have a gun on it they said no problem and made a gun really quick that looked like a stick and played it next to the pond of ducks. I will never order a cake from them again. My sister called and explained the disappointment and the lady had an attitude about it and said I paid for the size of the cake not the decoration. it looks like my cake was forgotten about and was made up last minute. everyone I've showed the cake to at the party agreed they would never pay $75 for this cake. When I picked up the cake from the same lady I ordered it from she asked me how old my kid was turning and I told her once again it was for my gender reveal party

My wedding cake was from Maple Street. I only had to taste one sample to know I wouldn't need to look at ay other bakery. The almond-y traditional New Orleans wedding cake flavor was perfect. The cake is moist and the icing is perfectly flavored and not overwhelming. Most weddings I go to - the cake is dry and disappointing. Maple Street Bakery is WORTH IT. Your guests will actually enjoy the cake. The prices are extremely reasonable and the cakes are beautiful.Don't look anywhere else. This is the perfect cake.

Wonderful pastries and muffins! The cream puffs and eclairs had such a delicious custard, and the shell was nice.

if I could give a zero, I would. I placed an order four days ago and 24 hours before I was supposed to get it, she called to say her baker quit and it wouldnt be filled. 24 hours. She gave the impression she was the baker. Dont trust this person with your bakery needs. Very unprofessional.

Stopped by last Thursday. Purchased some cherry and apple danish to bring home. It was filled with fruit. The pastry was very flaky. Also got a chocolate eclair while we were there. It was delicious and filled with chocolate pudding. Coffee hit the spot.

Killer cakes that taste even better than they look. Unreal buttercream. Fresh croissants, turnovers, muffins all exceptional. We go a lot and are never disappointed.
