Fun sports bar. Waited 30 minutes for someone to acknowledge us, another 15 to get seated, even though the place was mostly empty. Seem short staffed for a Sunday with football games playing. Server was great and staff was really nice. Surprised that the shrimp appetizer plate had 6 small shrimp ($15) and the Boudin Balls had 3 ($9). The balls were fantastic, the shrimp underwhelming. The drinks were good. Probably won't come back unless we had an event here.

Worst customer service by the hostess tonight!!!! We are from Montana and in town finishing up our weekend visit here in NOLA. We wanted to watch the Ravens vs. Bills game tonight and decided to go to Manning's Bar. The bar was packed, but I saw six empty tables upstairs. I went back to the front door where the hostess was sitting on a stool scrolling through her phone and I politely asked if we could grab a table for the 4 of us, she told me they were full and that we could just wait at the front door until a table opened up. She mentioned the wait could take 30 to 45 minutes, but there was no way for her to tell how long it would really be. Mind you, there was only one other couple sitting on a bench by the front door. I did not see anybody else in there waiting for a table and there were plenty of tables throughout the entire establishment that were currently vacant and available. I noticed a blank waitlist sheet at the podium and asked if we could put our name down and go to the bar for a drink while we waited. She said NO, claiming there was no waitlist, and if we wanted a table we would need to stand there until she called us. It was strange because the list was empty, but she wouldn't write our name down and come get us later. When I mentioned the 6 empty tables, she just said, "so." I really don't understand what just happened in there. Overall, we left feeling confused about the whole situation. We walked directly across the street to Ernst Café & Bar where they were more than welcoming for us to come in. They were also very full, but they directed us to go upstairs to the balcony where we could order drinks and food from the bar and find any empty table that was available and feel free to sit down and watch the game. The atmosphere here at Ernst Cafe and Bar is laid-back and the staff is really nice All in all, I guess it all turned out just fine, but I feel like management or the owners of Mannings probably have no idea how their staff treats their guest.

Came here for football on a Sunday.Got a table but it was filling up by 11:30am.The food was ok - bar food - we ordered nachos, wings and fries. Service was ok.There were 7 of us the bill was $402 - I gave an $85 tip - when I got home I realized the restaurant had already applied a $62 tip included in the total - so the waitress got over a 40% tip - oops. Check your receipts, kids!

We like Manning's! We were out looking for a place to watch the Alabama and Auburn game and this place was just the right spot! So many TV's all over the place and really good bar food.... 9/10

Location was easy walking distance from Caesars Casino. I came here on a Sunday to watch the Texans. The sports bar is huge and the bar itself has plenty of seating. There is also stadium seating with a large ceiling to floor TV! I believe there is a minimum purchase tab of $100 to sit there and watch your game. You may request your team's game on tv at the bar and they will tune it in for you!I sat at the bar and had the best wings in New Orleans which were buffalo hot. Had a few Abita drafts to wash them down. Service was decent and adequate. Decor of course revolves around the Manning family whom are football royalty. Will definitely stop by again in the future when in town.

My friends and I stopped in here for an early lunch a few weeks ago when we were visiting NO and it was a good experience. We walked in and there were a lot of people there, which is normally a good sign. We were sat immediately, ordered our food and it came out in about 15 minutes. The food tasted really good; no complaints there. The prices were about the same as everywhere else. The waitress was attentive and quick. And the place was pretty clean. All in all, it was a good lunch experience and I would go back to try something else off of the menu.

Just an average sports bar nothing really fancy about it. The food was OK. The drinks were pretty strong. And the service was good. Sorry I can't provide more information like I said it was nothing special about this place.

Walking the French Quarter I saw a sign saying that Manning's has the Best Burger in Town! Lissen, you can't say that and not think I won't stop through to give you a test. Heading over to Manning's is such a beautiful experience. The classic structures and organic New Orleans aesthetic provides for a great moment of artistic appreciation. Arriving at Manning's, there were two parties ahead of me. A party of Two and a party of Four. We are we're waiting at the stand as the host was confirming what tables were open. It seemed to be taking quite a while so another young lady came over to assist. As I was alone she offered me a table or the bar. Decisions, Decisions. LoL! As it seemed they may have been short staffed, I decided to sit at the bar. In walks Seymone! Haaaaaaaaaaay Seymone. LoL! Seymone was the bartender who greeted me as I walked up. She was all smiles and presented a ver pleasant introduction. Upon taking a seat, she provided me with a menu and took my order for a sweet tea. Though Manning's is a Sports Bar style Restaurant, the ambiance is super cozy and has almost a neighborhood vibe to it even though it's in the heart of Downtown. After taking a few moments to view the menu, I decided on the BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger (well done) and Substituted the Voodoo Chips for Fries (well done). As I watched the game that was playing and got lost looking out the window people watching, it was a matter of moments before my food was out. The presentation of the meal was picture perfect. The burger was stacked with layers of flattened beef patties to present a very thick pub style burger. The bacon was thick and meaty. It was crispy around the edges and tender in the middle. The perfection of the bacon provided an added layer of crunch that sat well with the fresh lettuce, tomatoes, and toasty bun. I took the first bite and OhMyGoshhhhhhh!!!!! I was in mouth-pleasing happinessssssss. Well flavored. Quality meat. Well done as ordered without being dry. Overall, TRULY a great burger. The fries were fries, however, all I cared about was the burger. I truly enjoyed my meal at Manning's. That you Seymone for the Service and Chef for the Meal. **P. S. I have to go back before I leave to try the wings. #WingMe

Manning's is a great venue to watch a game. The bar area is huge with plenty of TVs and one big screen with stadium seating and recliners. There is also a large patio area with TVs as well. I've been told that during football season they are packed for college and NFL games. We visited to watch a hockey playoff game. Arriving early to ensure a good seat we were surprised that they were basically empty. Well, a weeknight hockey game in NOLA is not a priority for the locals. We scored perfect stadium seats and the manager put the game on the big screen for us. Manning's has a good variety of local beers and generous pours. Their menu ranges from pub-type Apps to full dinners. we opted for Apps and they were good.I would love to return to watch a Saints or LSU game as I'm sure the vibe is off the charts. The only bummer was that the Bruins lost and were eliminated from the playoffs

Cold beer, great bar service and decent bar food, what else can you ask for. They do need to add Texas Longhorn gear to their decor for sure. TVs and games everywhere, great atmosphere to watch the game. Definitely check them out. Hookem
