Great Gumbo & Grilled Cheese is a staple here, it's a local legend on manhattan. The service could be faster but considering it's a small family run business, service moves seamlessly and you can order over the phone beforehand avoid waiting. Crawfish is fresh and boudins are amazing here. If you do decide to get any boiled seafood (crabs, shrimp, potatoes) please do not forget to get the homemade garlic butter sauce. You won't regret.

I love the gumbo here. Make sure you get a grilled cheese sandwich to go with it! It takes only a few extra minutes for them to make but it's worth the wait!

I Was not impressed because the food tasted burnt. The service was great and the location seemed safe. The price was not worth of the food.

they serve old crawfish from the day before. no seasoning just a hit of spice. they need to shut down if they cant afford to cook fresh seafood and food daily. boudin's are falling apart because they are so old. avoid this dump. money spends anywhere, go somewhere else

Personally I believe there are better places to go. This establishment is okay but they can't hold a candle to the competition. If you don't mind the extra drive then go to the westwego seafood lot. If you want a location that's just convenient while on the strip then this is it.

Tried them for the first time. All I can say is that the reviews about the Catfish is totally RIGHT! The size of the bun is fairly big so no worries if you are really hungry. The negative part of the whole experience was that they do not have a table and if you want to eat at the location you would have to hold it on your lap but it wasn't bad enough to deduct a star from them. Plenty of parking space in front. They also have many other items like a supermarket that u can purchase. They are like a "If it's eatable, we have it" place lolThe owner was Asian and very nice.

Everything here is amazing!!Crawfish always has the right flavors and that includes the turkey necks, and gumbo.Recently tried the fried catfish on buns and it was phenomenal!!This place is always a must when I come to town!

The gumbo is not always fresh, Ive gotten sick numerous times. Crawfish seasonsed good but always 2 dollars more a pound than any other place. Crab prices are a joke 9 dollars for 1 boiled crab. The state was investigating them for price gouging. Same size crabs 1 dozen for 18 dollars vs 1 for 9.

Very good service. The gumbo is delicious. I got the raw shrimp with head home to boil it. It's very fresh and taste is so good. Price is decent. I'm going try their poboy next time.

I use to eat here all the time. I was reminded why I had to cut back. The gumbo use to be awesome when it had actual chicken and shrimp in it. Now it's just smoke sausage and ham chunks. Lord forbid you ask someone that's fixing your food to go to the bottom of the pan to get the chicken and shrimp. Please do better.
