Ma behind the counter is family!!! Good food! Been there a long time. Long enough sandwich to feed 4-5 people easily.

Omgosh, THE BEST IN THE WEST. Their slogan is absolutely right! I always grab a quick to go lunch here. They are a corner store, but they have a deli in the back. Everything they cook is wonderful. There's various choices of shrimp fried rice lunch plates with fried porkchops, chicken wings, fried shrimp, catfish filets, or boneless chicken. They serve red beans and gumbo also. Which is a hot seller. Ohhhh and they have yummy delicious meat pies and eggrolls. This place hits the spot!

I have been buying lunch poboys and gumbo from this store for years. They have great food and they are fast and convenient.

Best that I've had from a corner store. Must try the hot sausage sandwich with egg/cheese and the pork chop sandwich both on toast!!!!!!!!!

While looking for a quick bite to eat while on my lunch break, I discovered this gem. I had a large, fully dressed shrimp poboy with hot sauce. The shrimp were surprisingly large and more flavorful than expected. The poboy left me more than satisfied. I will definitely be coming back as the good food was complimented by polite, prompt service. Plus the workers were cute.
