Chicken was 10/10 stopped thru heading back to the Dallas area, and this was the best fried chicken I've ever had!! Service was quick.

Straight to the wings and they were really good. The bbq wings were decent as well. No frills so please don't expect much in that regard.

Our Airbnb host recommended this hidden gem, and don't let the sketchy exterior fool you --it exceeded all expectations!We ordered 20-piece wings and a bowl of combination yakamein. The wings were amazing; not overly salty, exquisitely seasoned, and served freshly that's hard to find elsewhere in the US in my opinion. We also tried the yakamein for the first time, and the soup had a delightful kick, while the noodles were perfectly cooked. Super glad that we didn't fall into visiting a tourist trap!!

it took me 10 years, 10 damn years to finally make my way over here. id driven past, had it suggested, and kept reading about it, but finally i walked my ass onto the other side of the highway to see what this place is all about.liquor store? bodega? chinese take out ? chicken spot? you got it.its a small deli/bodega kinda spot. walk in, move to the right, walk up to the first counter and order your shit (they take cards), step back and wait for your number to be called. grabbed the goods and go. ill keep it simple. get the wings with shrimp fried rice. comes with 8 wings? and a decent size amount of (very small red ) shrimp fried rice in a take out container - priced at about $7.00. this was probably one of my fave meals in NOLA this time around.its a trashy looking feel and hood spot, but the wings are so damn good. crunchy, not salty, but juicy outter skin. meaty wings on the inside. theyre almost sweet too. skin stays on, which is good and something i always notice about a good chicken spot - dont bite in, and then pull off the crust or batter. would come back again and again. ill get everybody on this spot.

Authentic greasy southern fried food! If you're looking for fried wings, fried shrimp, French fries then this is the place to go. The items are freshly fried and they can turnaround your order pretty quick. I ordered a platter of 50 wings and got it within 10-15 minutes. It feels sketchy inside it feels like you're in the 'hood but I have never had any issues.

Not much to say other than it's some of the best fried chicken out there. Crispy, juicy, flavorful. They are working hard back in the kitchen, because they push out orders pretty quickly and they come out fresh and hot. Always a line. Must have fried chicken for sure.

You don't go to Manchu for the ambiance. You go there for the best chicken wings in town. I don't know what they put in their chicken, but it is sooooo good. Service is always fast! You are usually in and out pretty quickly.

Chicken! Fried chicken is what you come here for..crispy, seasoned and delicious. Meat pie good too..now the location is not for the average tourist.. this is a liquor store that also has food..local spot..yes we'll stop by again..I don't suggest walking around.

Came here for the famous chicken wings. I'm not going to lie it was juicy and crunchy but it wasn't the best wing I've ever had. Pricing was great. Will return in the future.
