Mammoth Espresso

Cute little coffee spot! I opted for a cortado and it was pretty tasty. The espresso tasted a bit on the burned side, but overall still good! The chocolate croissant was incredibly divine and I would love to have that again! Overall, great experience.

Nice little coffee spot. We popped in here to get out of the rain while we were waiting to get into Bearcat. They only have small sized coffees but still very expensive. I decided to get the Cinnamon Toast Crunch coffee. They soak the milk in the cereal and then use it to make coffee. Pretty good; however, no milk alternatives for this specific drink.

Visited this place last summer and to this day, I still daydream about their cardamom cookie. It's not your ordinary cookie. It's like a chewy ginger cookie with a crispy crust. It's a bpugie cookie. If I ever make it back to NOLA, I'm definitely going back for this. The coffees are good too. Wakes you up. They had a sign that said "the coffee your parents warned you about."Anyway, try it and tell me all about it.

Open every day at 7 a.m., this Warehouse District specialty coffee roaster is how I wish every specialty latte tastes. Their cinnamon French toast latte wasn't too sweet, allowing the quality of the coffee and flavors to stand out. My wife enjoyed her cardamom latte and our daughter LOVED the "Everything Is Awesome" drink just for kids (steamed milk dyed blue with vanilla and Lucky Charm marshmallows on top). If you like coffee tonics, order the "New" Old Fashioned. The cafe itself is designed well with seats inside, in the outdoor hallway, and outside. Service was friendly and efficient.

Is this a new trend I'm not familiar with?? This total disregard for customer service or any kind of basic pleasantries? The service is not what you would expect to find in a typical NOLA place. For that type of attitude, you need to be working in some snooty Seattle shop and the coffee would need to be way better.BB

Although this is my first review, I've been to mammoth several times within the last few years. The coffee and vibe are consistent. The shop is very cute, there aren't a lot of seats inside as it's very quaint, but there's outdoor seating too for overflow. They have a very clean restroom, good music, coffee beans for sale, and apparel. The service is good & fast too. I have no complaints & will continue to pop by!

So good! I had a honey lavender iced latte and it was perfect, not too sweet but you could taste the flavors. The everything pinwheel was delicious. Will be back!

Beautiful little coffee shop! We strolled in because we were staying right across the street, love the walkable area all around here! We got a Cinnamon Toast Crunch iced latte which my daughter loved! It was creamy and sweet and did taste just like the cereal! I got a cappuccino which was perfect, great flavor and I added a touch of sugar and yum, delicious! We got an everything bagel pastry like a croissant stuffed with cream cheese also very tasty, eating in their cute shop with plants all around, made me happy!

People are NOT kidding about the bad attitudes at the counter. The wait as positively absurd. It took 20+ minutes to get a single simple drink. This is not the baristas' fault but management needs to hire more people. Irritatingly there were several other staff members across the hallway setting up their expanded space and working on their laptops. Maybe come help out the two people trying to work through a 20 drink deep backlog?The coffee itself was fine. Nothing to get excited about. Both espressos of the day were citrusy/sourI don't think I'll be back.

My friend and I were visiting Nola for the weekend. And stumbled upon this coffee shop that was down the street from our hotel. We didn't try any food because we were headed to brunch, but we did get a few drinks. She got a latte while I opted for a cortado. Service was friendly and fast. I love the ambiance of the shop. Plants and natural light shining through. Great music playing. Plenty of seating inside and outside. And additional tables on the street. Definitely recommend!
