Mahony's Po-Boys & Seafood

Cannot say enough good things about this place! From the moment you walk in you know you're in for something special. Poboys are absolutely phenomenal - the bread is so soft it practically melts in your mouth (I hope they never change it). Every bite is a testament to care and attention. Mahony's take pride in every detail. Highly recommend!

Popped into Mahony's while wandering around the Garden District. Tried the 6 inch shrimp po boy and onion rings. The Pinot was solid. Not the best I've had, but a good overall representation. The onion rings are actually onion straws and were good, but very salty. Service was super friendly and attentive. We got to sit out front on the patio, which is a great spot when the weather is nice. Overall good spot that is worth a visit if you are in the area.

I took my niece and younger cousin here for a girls lunch. Though it was December, the weather was mild and we sat outside ti enjoy the breeze. Our waiter was super friendly and helpful. I had the chopped salad while they had Po-boys. Ok, who am I kidding?? I also had half a po-boy that I saved for later. It was half oyster/shrimp with cheese tomato and bacon! A great combo. I'll be back to Mahoney's just for that sandwich.

Po-Boys feel like a requirement when visiting New Orleans, and Mahony's a pretty good place to get a pretty loaded sandwich. A little on the pricier side in the area for what you get, the full peacemaker was filled with fried oysters, fried shrimps, and lots of flavor. The onion rings we got in the side were clearly freshly made and complimented the po boy nicely. Our waiter was incredibly friendly and very fast with the service. A friendly and comfortable experience across the board.

This was our first time here a visiting friend wanted to get his fix for po'boy before leaving. We tried other places but new day made it difficult. Mahoney's is a classic for the po'boy lover. I got the roast beef with gravy and it didn't disappoint, my buddy got Oyster and shrimp. The girls got shrimp and grits and Crawfish Monica every one agreed this was one of best mealsOf the week the shrimp and grits was Olivia's favorite bite this week. My wife said the Crawfish Monica was good but she prefers the more creamy style from Jazzfest but that is were we first got this dish so maybe slightly biased or influenced by 10 years plus of memories.Sorry no food pictures we were headed to the airport to drop our friends off.

Been coming to Mahony's for many years and love the uptown po-boys, cold local brews in icy mugs, sweet NOLA service, and sports on TV. Last night pulled in for a po-boy last night after big SMU win over Tulane. Perfect post-game stop. With love for po-boys and NOLA.

BEST PO-BOYS IN NOLA this place is a must!! 10/10 recommend coming from a girl from down the bayou!!

Love this place.Great space and great ambience!We had the bar b que shrimp po boy, so fantastic.More importantly, some of the best red beans and rice and sausage, I've ever had!!Highly recommend!!

The fact that Mahony's doesn't have at least 4 stars truly surprises me. This place is so damn good and very consistent. My absolute favorite thing on the menu is the fried pickles. I tell people all the time that Mahony's has the best fried pickles on this side of heaven. I've tried several things on the menu - fried shrimp poboy, the etouffee, blue crab jalapeño bites, roast beef poboy, etc. It's ALL GOOD. The staff is also super sweet and truly embody NOLA southern charm. They absolutely add to the charm and experience of this place. I always recommend Mahony's to my friends visit NOLA, as it's a great place to get great food and experience Nola outside of the FQ.

Great food, great service! Those debris fries are AMAZING. Huge portions so you can split a whole and have more than enough food. Cool spot on magazine and I will return!
