Lucy Boone Ice Cream

Could this be better ice cream than creole? Sorry diehards, it absolutely is. Less selection, but much better tasting ice cream with creative takes across the entire counter. There is a reason they use metal spoons for tasting - perhaps to be environmentally friendly, but maybe it's because they have a superb product that would be done a disservice on plastic.The chocolate is... proper chocolate! Why is that so hard to find? Well they do it right at Lucy Boone's. The horchata and key lime pie flavors are excellent. My kids love the cookies and cream.The parlor environment is a lot more relaxed and calm than other ice cream shops in the crescent city. Overall an excellent ice cream parlor.

I loved the variety of flavors and the size of the cups!My favorite flavor was by far the cold brew and salted caramel. Together, the flavors mixed so well. There's chairs and tables to sit and enjoy your ice cream in an air conditioned place. Plastic or metal spoons whichever you prefer, and a self serve water station.Parking: free on street

This ice cream is most certainly some of the most unique ice cream I've ever had! The ice cream itself is sweet and creamy with a very clean milk taste but what really sets Lucy Boone apart from other ice cream shops are inclusions in the ice cream flavors. I had a scoop of the honey ice cream, and the blueberry crisp ice cream, both were outstanding, honey. Ice cream had crunchy bits of honey, flavored clusters, and the blueberry crisp had inclusions that reminded me of a blueberry cobbler. The service was excellent, allowing me to try any flavors I wanted to Before settling on a decision. I highly recommend Lucy Boone ice cream for a sweet treat! They were also dog-friendly which is a huge plus!

Lucy Boone has quickly become my go to ice cream! I've loved them ever since they were a pop up. They have such creative flavors and they execute them PERFECTLY. My go to is anything with a crumble or crisp. I've also gotten the blueberry crisp ice cream pie and it was unbelievably good. You really can't go wrong with anything you order! The owners are so kind. The space is super cute. The fridge is always stocked with pints, pies, ice cream sandwiches, and ice cream bars for a quick grab.

Wife wanted some ice cream so I looked to see what would still be open and not too far from us, I had to bring it back to my daughter's apartment. Found Lucy Boone to be about 8min from Tulane. I drove there and they had already told me what they wanted to eat, Salted Butter Carmel and Brownie Nutella. I went for the old tried and true, cookies and cream. Location is off of St Charles, across from Mae's. Cute little shop with seating. The ice cream was outrageous, very smooth, not heavy or too sweet. I would recommend stopping by and trying it out.

I Scream.You Scream.We all Scream for Lucy Boone Ice Cream.This is the place for ice cream in New Orleans. So creamy. So rich. So delicious. The salted caramel is amazing. Definitely try this one. The blueberry crisp tastes just like an old fashioned blueberry cobbler swirled through delicious vanilla ice cream. Vegan? Gluten-free? Didn't try those, but they are also available.

Cold brew ice cream is excellent, one of the best flavors I have had anywhere. Also enjoyed strawberry crisp and key lime pie. Shop is comfortable with few small tables seating four each, service warm and welcoming. Would definitely revisit if I come back to New Orleans!

The Cold brew ice cream is delicious!! I dont like anything coffee but this ice cream literally changed the game. Yummy! My nephew wanted a gas station sponge bob ice cream. He is 6 yrs old. I asked him if I could take him to a place I like instead. He reluctantly agreed. We went to Lucy Boone, he got the key lime ice cream and now it is in regular demand. He loves their ice cream!

Amazing customer service!!! Soooo happy we stumbled upon this place and came in. Best homemade ice cream I have had in a very long time!

Came by here after dinner for our last dessert before we'd head back home. This place did not disappoint. One of the best ice cream desserts on our trip. I'd highly recommend. Service was good.
