A fine place if you are at the airport and are craving a hot dog. But if you are trying to duplicate the experience you had at a Lucky Dogs cart in New Orleans, this ain't that.

It was ok. The hot dog was kind of cold. But they had Barq's red crème! That was all I needed! The service was good!

Of course I had to grab one before my departure.Nothing fancy. Just a plain dog with chili. Would've been better if they had an option to grill it. But it's a must since I was in NOLA.

There's a couple of these in the airport, I'm writing about the small kiosk in the Terminal C section by gate C7.Staffer was out of some food, but hot dogs and nachos she still had. Nachos had plenty of cheese put on them. And the hot dogs looked packed with the toppings.Bigger shop is closer to the A/B wing.

After arriving at the airport, I was seeking a quick bite, nothing too big and came across this hot dog joint. The menu is very limited, only having a few items (sausage, hot dogs, and nachos) and the toppings are very limited, just chili, cheese, and peppers. I ordered peppers, but they didn't have any. The regular size hot dog I got was a mess, as it was loaded with chili and cheese, which is what I wanted, but it's insanely messy. It tasted ok, nothing special. Very pricey though, like $14 for a hot dog and bottle of water.

It may look like just an airport hot dog, but apparently Lucky Dogs has been selling in New Orleans since 1948. And apparently they were involved in 1976 Supreme Court case (which they won) relating to an exclusive grandfathering to vend in the French Quarter when the city was cracking down on a lot of street vendors. I don't recall seeing any other food carts there this trip, except these hot dog shaped carts.Jumbo Dog w/ Chili, Onions and Mustard: Hit the spot for filling quick meal before a flight. The chili was especially nice. No beans about it, just little granules of meat and nice sauce. The mustard and raw onions were a perfect way to cut the richness of the chili and snappy dog.

Service and food was very terrible. While I was asking questions about the menu, the cashier, Antoinette, responded very nasty and sarcastic to me. The manager or co-worker had to intervene to clarify and de-escalate.I continued with my order despite the rough start. As my hot dog was being prepared, the worker drenched & soaked my hot dog in cheese with 3 pumps vs 1-2 standard pumps. Please consider other food options at the MSY airport and do not go here.

Kinda corny reviewing a Hot Dog kiosk while waiting for a flight at Gate 3, Terminal One, in beautiful Louis Armstrong Airport -- but Yelpers, the doggies were really good, and hit the spot. Talk about right place, right time, right food, grab-n-go, clean, fast, fresh, delicious, super friendly service, and Coke products. Everything a road warrior could ask for. Five Stars.

If I could give a lower review I would. The lady serving cared about nobody. I asked for a Lucky Dog and a drink. When she gave it to me I realized that she had not put any ketchup. I turned went back to the counter and asked for some. She starting waving her hands saying once I left she could not give me anything...that there were germs from all over the place that I could have just touched. She told me I ordered a plain hot dog...which I did not do. She knew it was me. I had just ordered. Nobody else was in line. She did not offer to give me a packet or put any in a cup. She cares about NOBODY. Which means LUCK DOG cares about NOBODY. There are better places at the MSY airport to eat. Try anything else other than this location.I also noticed on my receipt when I got home - Lucky Dog adds a "non cash adj" to the check. This is insane - this "germaphobe" can't dare hand me ketchup because I could have germs from all over...but it I do a contact payment...they service charge me for it.Again - when at the MSY airport - TRY ANYTHING ELSE...
