Food is affordable, service was quick and the ambiance is get to food and geaux! In times of needing breakfast or lunch that's reasonable or for a group. They are the place to visit!

It's been a long time since I've been here and the food has always been amazing. Everything was hot and fresh. The grits were really good and the fish was crispy. The French toast and the chicken wings were amazing as well. One person shouldn't eat this much food but I was stuffed and happy. I hid in the car so I didn't have to share. There is a bit of wait bits it's worth it. You can either wait in the car or sit in the sitting area they have provided.

Decided to make this our first food stop once we arrived in Baton Rouge. They definitely did not disappoint. The service was excellent and the food was A1. Located behind a small convenient store in a trailer, this small establishment puts out some serious flavors. Typical wait time is around 20 minutes per order since everything is made on the spot. I ordered the meatloaf and my girlfriend ordered the fried chicken. Both of us were more than happy with our food and the portions. We'll be back next time we're in the area.

After being the first to review this restaurant and loving it. I haven't had the opportunity to make it back until now. Today I ordered the fried fish dinner with candied sweet potatoes and the corn. The sweet potatoes were definitely the best part of this meal. The catfish strips were tasty just small.

There's always a wait, but it's definitely worth it! This French toast is sooo good! If you're looking for a simple breakfast with great taste, look no further.

Doesn't look like much on the outside but I think the person cooking in the inside loves to cook! The menu has a variety of things for breakfast lunch and dinner! Today I just had a basic club sandwich and fries which was good for a sandwich I just didn't like the cheese I could tell it was processed cheese and not real cheddar. The fries were hot and fried perfectly. I just so happened to come when the cake was fresh out the oven yummmmmy! It was hot and moist 7up cake that was melt in your mouth delicious goodness!

Food is great but you should try to order in advance because its a slight bit of a wait.

OH. MY. GOSH! Found this place via Yelp. I don't know how or what took me so long to try this place. The space is a tiny little blink and you'll miss it building. Its behind a car wash. But, It's def worth stopping in! I went with the 6 piece fried chicken wings with a side of Mac n cheese and mustard greens. Man, I had to call my grandmother and tell her step her cookies up! The chicken, was crispy, juicy, rich in flavor, & nice in size. I cleaned the bone dry! The Mac and cheese gave me Thanksgiving flashbacks! It was so cheesy. The greens were delicious! They have plenty of sides you can choose from. I felt like I was eating a home cooked meal on a beautiful Sunday. My order was ready for pickup when I arrived and the lady who waited on me was pleasant. I can't rave enough! Get here now!

Please, don't waste your time and money. The food was not worth it! The location and prices were inaccurate on Yelp. The fish and grits plate has grits and three tiny fish strips that were heavily breaded, fishy tasting, and un-fresh (like they should have been thrown out, instead of cooked). I had to throw the food away, smh. I also bought two biscuits that were cold and hard(one came with the meal).I was charged for condiments that I didn't ask for, nor was I made aware I would be charged for. I was not able to return the plate for a refund within 2mins of purchase, because I walked out the door to my car, opened my food, and then attempted to return. I will definitely be staying away from Lillie's kitchen.

The food at Lillie's kitchen is Delectable. You are give very Small portions but it is really delicious. I will be coming here again.
