Day of visit: December 21, 2024A friend found this place and we decided to give it a try based on the overall positive Yelp reviews but this is the rare occasion that my fellow Yelpers have let me down: This was a bit of an expensive boondoggle.There are a lot of cool names and a fair amount of creativity that went into the shakes, but unfortunately they are mostly whipped cream. $22 after tax and tip for 45% whipped cream is not my idea of a "milkshake." I went with the Oatmeal Cream Dream, which was rang up as "Bananas Foster." I noticed this after I sat down and ran over to the cashier to make sure I didn't get something I had not fixed my mouth for but they assured me that they just "don't have a button for Oatmeal" but I will get what I ordered.While staff was friendly, didn't love the hand-written sign warning of a "10 - 20 minute wait" after ordering, which seems like a giant range, though my shake did not take nearly that long. Too bad it just wasn't all that great...

Just fine, I think.We walked by the shop several times during our stay in the French Quarter; and the branding and design were so cute, we stopped by on our last day in NOLA. It was pretty empty inside, so we were able to place our order quickly and had our choice of seats. Customer service was friendly and polite; we didn't wait long for the order to come out and my mom had enough time to get some cute photos at the stage in the back and go to the bathroom.We ordered the 16oz Rolling in the Cookie Dough to share and it was a very decadent treat! We really enjoyed the flavor, but the experience of actually eating it was kinda difficult. It felt like we got more topping than milkshake. The cookie dough bits are FANTASTIC -- I could honestly eat them by the spoonful, but there wasn't enough, especially for being the main star of the shake. The prices are a bit steep for the amount of milkshake you get -- you're definitely paying for the Insta-worthy photo. I can't say it's the best milkshake I've had, but it was tasty. I can see them getting really packed on a hot summer day.

We wanted some treats after a long day of walking around French Quarters and this spot called our name. The ice cream was a really good, the milkshakes and coffee were good but too sweet for my taste. If you like loads of sugary this is your spot! The staff was great and everyone g was nice and clean.

I wish I could give this place a good rating. A Friday night in The French Quarter and only two employees on staff. The line was at the door when I stopped in. I waited in line for over 45 minutes and turned around and left empty handed. The sign at the register states "an additional 10-15 minute wait after placing your order". I don't think there's any dessert in the world with waiting over an hour for. Such a disappointment because I am a huge Blue Bell ice cream fan. This is the base for their shakes and treats. I can get the same ice cream at home without having to stand in line for an obscene amount of time.

Fun for the family, and such a cute date idea. Flavor combos are so imaginative and delicious. We had the mint chip brownie in the 16 oz and it was amazing, but also not enough to eat for 3! The serving was quite small under the toppings. Service was great!

It as clean and not as busy. I love milkshakes and every time I travel I look for ice cream shops. This one was interesting but disappointing. The price between the small and the large was about a dollar ish for double the size. So of course I got the large. However it was mostly wiped cream. And not the homemade type. Visual it was great, but favor wise... uhm.... I had much better for less $. I won't be back for sure. Overpriced and not a good return in deliciousness. Legendary disappointed.

We tried the oatmeal signature milkshake. So glad we did. Because OMG. It was amazing. I needed a nap afterwards. The shop is clean and easy to find. They let us know how long it would take to make in advance which. However, they had it ready faster and the staff was really nice.

Despite the buzz, the wait was a letdown--45 minutes in line, and it didn't move an inch. With just one overwhelmed employee handling orders and making shakes, the frustration outweighed the anticipation. The atmosphere felt chaotic rather than inviting, and the mismanagement overshadowed any excitement for their over-the-top creations. It's clear this spot needs more staff and better organization to match its popularity. While the menu looked indulgent, the wait was simply too much to make it worth it.

This place was on our list to visit when in town. We went during the weekend after dinner and it was not busy. The milkshakes were good but I'm not completely sold that they were worth it. They are quite pricey for a small amount and I was let down by the presentation of them. I've seen photos on IG, their website, and here which makes them look so good but our were just blah. Especially let down with how the cosmic brownie shake turned out compared to all the photos I had seen. Me and boyfriend both decided it was nice to try but we can't see ourselves going again.
