King Nola Burger

There are some experiences you have in this city that make you remember why you stay here. Walking into Mike's food store, and finding King Nola Burgers is one of those moments. You get one of those hometown bodega vibes as soon as you walk in. They had Indian music playing which I found very interesting, and a great wine and liquor selection. But let's get to this burger, which is one of the best in the city for sure. Seasoned and cooked to perfection. Grilled onions, the works! If you order it there, you're going to wait 15 minutes or so, and it's worth it. New Orleans has many great burgers, and this one makes the list fosho. Definitely wanna come back and try out the rest. Fries are an extra dollar, affordable tasty food, it's what New Orleans is truly about.

The beef is good. The bun is good. However, there was way too much seasoning and grease oozing out of the burger and french fries. It felt like a one-way ticket to high cholesterol and diabetes. I get it: We want flavored foods but not at the risk of heartburn. Recommendation: Lighten up on the seasoning and sauces and make sure the burger is blotted or drained before placing on a bun. The lettuce and tomato were fresh, but I'm dealing with an abundant amount of salt intake and regretting dinner...

Probably the best no-frills burger I've ever had. The patty is sizable, grilled to perfection, as are the onions. Located in the back of a little corner store, completely unexpected, absolutely delicious. If you're craving an authentic NOLA experience, this is it. I live in the neighborhood and can't wait to go back.

My wife and I came here after a long flight, and man, were we blown away. This place is located inside a little shopping mart. We got the King of Kings burger, the warlord wings, and the communist fries and they were all made fresh to order. The burger was so savory and the beef mixed with seafood tasted high quality. The French fries were amazing, crunchy, and well-seasoned. They didn't even need ketchup. And the wings, nice and hot! They had something similar as a buffalo sauce but still different enough to distinguish itself. I would highly recommend.

Was hoping this would be great but disappointed. The wings were good and I never ever order wings but they were good. The fries way too salty and the burger was a complete turn off. The bun was soaking wet so it was like biting into a ball of mush. 2 bites and I was done. Probably won't try again.

Needed something for lunch and this popped up on maps. I got the bacon burger and it was excellent. My only quibble is it came with seasoned fries and I would prefer plain. Next time I'll ask.
