Enjoyable distraction. Probably hundreds of kinds of jerky. Lots of spicy and exotic flavors. The dried anchovies are great. Spicy beef lemongrass has a nice kick. Enjoy on your next trip to Hong Kong market! Tell them Dave sent u. They dont know me and you won't get a discount but maybe yelp will get U the hookup. Makes a great off the wall gift for your foodie friends. Looks like they have boba tea now too.

Yummy, Cheap, Delicious!! Try the baked rice paper cake and rice paper salad, they are to die for and so addicting!! Their drinks are freshly made and def delicious!!

Came here when it first opened and the guy working (I believe he was the owner) was super excited to show us around and let us taste a few of the different jerkies. Husband and I had a great experience in this small shop. They have such a variety, both savory and sweet.It's been a few years but I was at Hong Kong Market on Christmas Day and saw Kho Bo was open and now serving bubble tea. This experience was a lot different than the first, unfortunately, but the quality of the items I purchased was good. They do crystal boba here and not tapioca so it's an interesting deviation from the usual and I enjoyed my milk tea and the bag of assorted sweets.I'm not sure if it was indifference or a language barrier but the young lady behind the counter was not at all friendly. I didn't spend much time inside looking around as I normally would and would have spent quite a bit more money had I felt comfortable.

Very unique little jerky shop on the wank! Tucked away in the Hong Kong market shopping center, with a very cool variety of jerky! Every time i come here i find some new, i usually come for the liver jerky, which i love and i dont even like liver haha! On my recent trip i picked up some stingray and deer which i have never seen before and they tasted amazing! They also sell tons of dried fruits, nuts, candy and even a variety of dried fish. Im always greeted nicely and asked for help which it being explanation for a certain type and they even let you sample anything before you buy it.Its a little on the pricey side most jerky being 24.99 lb but you can ask for small portions. If youre a big fan of beef jerky and on the west bank, definently drop in at this place, you won't be disappointed.

Finally I found a best place for my childhood favorite' snacks (rice paper salad and beef jerky) - banh trang tron and kho bo. Their tastes are really good as well. The "banh trang tron" costs $7 but there is so many stuffs inside with beef jerky, fresh quail eggs, dried shrimps, peanut, etc and a lot of rice paper. I think it's still cheaper than others place. Because 1 box is too much for 1 person.They also have a good homemade drink which calls "nuoc mat". Just $4 with a big cup of fresh drinking is perfect enough for this hot weather. Also the store is very clean and comfortable. The employees are friendly and polite. I will come back this place whenever I travel to New Orlearns.

Hands down, my favorite place to spend extra time, and to just enjoy great tasting snacks and drinks. They have a TREMENDOUS selection of sweets, jerkies, drinks, and jerky salads. There is definitely something here for everyone. Quyen, the owner, is very friendly, funny, and helpful. Try the mango jerky salad and pair it one your favorite smoothie!

Quality of jerky is amazing. Questionable customer service. I'm slow and should have paid attention to the guidelines on the wall but If a customer looks lost maybe your shop staff should offer some kind of explanation how things work ?? Like you're required to buy at least half a pound of jerky lol Based on other reviews I suspect they only offer good service based on how customers look, disappointed but nothing new since just Asians being judgmental per usual lol. Also if you're gonna talk shit about ppl in Viet please know that I understand it too. Still gonna give fairly high rating because they do have great products & that matters more to me than questionable service. Hope that helps

I wish i could give them 0 star if i can. The worst service that i can find around New Orleans. I came in twice - one in the morning to buy a drinks and the old lady ( I don't know she is a worker or owner) she doesn't know how to make it and she said me to wait like 30 mins and i did wait and no one come to make it, so i went out. Another time is in the early evening, i still meet that old lady, and she still doesn't know how to do the drinks that I order. I don't know why she doesn't know how to make drinks so why she just keep open this store. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND TO COME !!!

I love this place! Everyone is so friendly, and everything is so neat! The food and drinks are always made fresh and packaged securely. (Pick-up is quick and easy as well.). Their banh trang tron is my favorite!
