Kantunil

So back story I was not real happy with Habanero's which used to be here and so I was hesitant to go back. Let's just say I am glad I did... the food is so much better and the service was on point. We started with the house margaritas and our waiter hooked us up with the Happy Hour Specials! The bean dip that comes with the chips is amazing with a little kick and the salsa was also good. I ordered the Asada Fajitas with homemade corn tortillas and it was awesome, my wife got the enchiladas and she loved them as well, then we ordered the corn flan and demolished it! We walked out full and happy! Will be back!

Food was terribleService was terrible. Everybody was standing around looking at the phones even when were looking right at them in need of drink.Ambiance was fine but they didn't do anything different that I could tell from when Haberno's was located there

My wife and I stopped by Kantunil for Sunday brunch and once more enjoyed the experience. If you're ready for somewhat more upscale Mexican dining than you might find at your typical Mexican restaurant, Kantunil in Covington might be just for you. Interesting takes on artisanal Mexican fare, signature cocktails, tasteful surroundings, and excellent service are the norm.

Had a great lunch here the other day came back tonight. The food was still great. Margarita was excellent, but the waitstaff was very bad and the kitchen was very slow took over a half an hour to get one plate. Hopefully these are things that get better and hopefully get more Mexican staff to keep the authenticity at a top level

The food was amazing! Flavors were unique and oh so fresh! Lovely atmosphere, ate outside.. the service was superb! Love the selection of draft beers! Will be back! Soon!

Loved the atmosphere in the quiet outside patio, the service and food were above and beyond! We are definitely going back ! Highly recommend!

First time there. Two of us, we arrived early, 6:10 pm. Got our food at 7:10pm and all the food was cold. When we first sat down I had to ask if we had a waiter. We were sitting by the kitchen door and we were not acknowledged for 10 or 15 minutes. The flavor of the food was very good.

The food was delicious chimichangas with rice and black beans paste.Servers were courteous and prompt.I have never been to a modern jungle before, but whoever designed this is going places. Very interesting!

Only complaint is that the house Margherita on the rocks has very little tequila. We had to order shots to adjust them. Appetizers great. Entrees great. Service very good. Music a little loud. Nicely decorated. Will be back if they fix the marghs. Reasonable prices.

Had dinner here for the first time and it was amazing! Our waiter, Marco, was phenomenal!! We will definitely be back.
