Kajun Twist

I am in love with their fried chicken. It is one of the best around! Also their hamburger steaks and Poboys are amazing. Really everythig I've ever had was amazing! But that chicken ... yumm

We have been amazed how friendly the people have been in La Fourche Parrish in all the restaurants we've visited. Not the case here in Kajun Twist, our waitress would totally not engage in conversation as well as anyone else in the place. As for the food, my wife had Chicken and Sausage Gumbo and it was like a not so good chicken soup with sausage. It had a very thin broth with no celery or onions. Definitely no roux was used in the process. I had a Roast Beef PoBoy that was average taste, unlike Harry's PoBoys the bun wasn't toasted and had nothing that would set it apart from any average PoBoy. Was not happy with the experience at all. With all the other great restaurants don't waste your time here. It's like they don't even make an effort.

Always great food and friendly staff! They make sure to answer all of your questions. I never leave dissatisfied with the meal and staff. A must-have is the onion rings! I drive from Larose on my lunch break just to have a poboy with the onion rings!

Anthony Goldsmith and his team go above and beyond to make sure everything is fresh and on Point. Thank y'all for coming to Lockport, a much needed new place for great eats and service , especially with y'all drive through which makes it so easy in these tough times !!!!

Great food, great people, and great service. We ordered onion rings, shrimp po-bits, the Fourchon burger, and the fried chicken. All was awesome!!

Really good burgers, po-boys, Gumbo, and fried chicken and more. They also serve malts, shakes and ice cream
