I love broiled crawfish; however, I don't like the crawfish here. I ordered about 5lbs of broiled crawfish and they smelled so good, but didn't taste good. The crawfish was not cleaned properly (dirty and grainy tasting) I ended up throwing them away. Try the broiled shrimps instead and the selection of fresh seafoods, frozen trout, frozen red fish, lump crab meat and crab claw meat. Overall, I don't recommend the broiled crawfish here.

For the past two years or so, I always got my boiled crawfish from this place. However, recently I got some and they were SO salty (usually I LOVE salt and lots of it, but this was entirely too much), they were also very dirty and tasted so much like mud that I actually had to spit about 10 out and eventually just gave up on eating them. You can tell they were not washed at all. For approx. $6 a lb, I had higher expectations even if it is the beginning of crawfish season. Last season, it happened to me twice so I started getting my crawfish from another place. I was so disappointed in trying them again because I know in the past, they have been good! I hope this review can help for improvement.

During these hard times of the pandemic with small businesses I truly believe in supporting our local retailers. Saying this I went to "Just in Time seafood" to preorder live crawfish during the week. I pre-ordered four sacks of crawfish and a with half hamper of crabs with a $80 deposit using a credit card. I got my receipt and left without really looking at the receipt. This past Saturday I went to pick up my order and pay the balance to my shock I saw that they charged me $3.20 as non-cash fee on my deposit. Then when they rang up my totalup there was another non-cash fee of $14.41 on a balance of $360.21. I was absolutely shocked that spending over $400 would cost me additional fees. Who would think that in 2021 you would be basically fined for not paying cash so needless to say they will never get another dime out of me or my family again. Plus your crawfish couldn't have been dirtier.

I called and asked if they had select crawfish. The man told me they did so I drove an hour to put a deposit on 2 sacks. I told the woman I was there to put a deposit on select crawfish and she said they don't carry select but their crawfish were large so I paid a deposit. When I went to pick up my crawfish that same woman was yelling at another customer for asking a simple question about an online price. It was disgusting and I should have walked out then. 2 guys loaded my crawfish and when I got home I was surprised that one sack was no more than a consistent medium and the second sack were so small that I would have considered it illegal. ALLL WERE SOOOOO SMALL! Not ever going back there!! Going to the Boiling Pot!

LONG ONE!!!! But had to share. I experienced an extremely dissatisfying situation at the place of business. I called to reserve 3 sacks of live crawfish for March 4, 2019 (non holiday) estimated to cost about $400. I was asked to pay a $60 deposit and I was fine with that. After paying the deposit, the gentleman gave me a yellow receipt that detailed what I had reserved and the amount of my deposit. On the morning of March 4, 2019, I called the location to ask if I could pay my balance over the phone because my husband was picking the order up, but I had forgotten to give him the debit card. After asking if I could pay over the phone, the worker told me that they were not able to take payments over the phone. So I informed him that I would not be able to pick my order up because I would not be off of work in time. I then asked him if I could use my deposit towards crawfish on a later date since they couldn't take my payment over the phone. He told me that he didn't see why that would be a problem and advised I called after the Mardi Gras holiday to do so. So I did just that. On Sunday, March 10, 2019 I went to the location with my receipt in hand to inquire about using my $60 deposit towards a new order. When I was greeted by the gentleman (same one who took my order and deposit), I introduced myself very calmly and polite and proposed my question. I asked him if it was possible for me to use my deposit towards crawfish. At that moment, he responded with such aggravation, carelessness, disrespect and hostility. With an elevated tone, he told me that hid rule was "no refunds on holiday reserves". He clearly wasn't listening to anything I was saying because I did not want a refund. That is not what I asked for. He was so rude to me, he barely gave me an opportunity to finish my sentences. He kept repeating that his rule is not refunds and that I was an inconvenience to him because he waited hours on Mardi Gras day for people to pick up their orders and many people did not show up. He made a comment to me that upset me even more. He said, "You should have just came and got your crawfish". I proceeded to inform him that not only did I NOT reserve for a holiday, I called and told them that I could not make it. So his rule "no refunds on holiday reserves" DID NOT apply to me. He said that he didn't know which worker I talked to when I called to let them know I could not make it. I recommended he maybe check the schedule to see who was working that day so that we could pin point who offered the wrong information to me. He actually told me that he wasn't going to do that because it didn't matter. He said that nothing I asked mattered because it wasn't his rule. I handed him my receipt to show him that the date HE wrote on my ticket was NOT a holiday. He snatched it out of my hand, read it, and then mentioned that he doesn't even have a copy of that receipt anymore. FYI, this was a carbon copy so the original had to be somewhere on file, he just refused to retrieve it. I explained to him that I understood his rules, but wanted him to know that his "rule" is nowhere listed on the receipt or in the facility and that his employee evidently didn't know his rule either. As I was speaking, he turned his back to me and walked away. I verbalized out loud that as a customer, he made me feel unimportant and like my concerns did not matter as he stated several of times during his pampage. Icing on the cake....... The female worker did not like that I was speaking the truth I assume. She asked me to leave before she called the police on me!!!!!!! WOW!!! The entire time I was there, not one time did I raise my voice or speak to anyone in a dis-respectable manner. I was just a customer with a question. There were other customers that made comments to me while I was getting into my car. They validated that this was wrong and that the actions of these workers were unnecessary. I was insulted and offended by the way they handled this situation and I will never spend another dime there. I will make it a priority to share my experience with as many people as I can.

We called this place as soon as they opened to check the price and availability of some live crawfish. After speaking with them and getting the information we asked for we made the drive over there only to be told that between the time we called and when we arrived they were sold out. If they would have said they didn't have many left we would have reserved one but they never stated that. Horrible customer service
