When I have a taste for Chinese food I would order from John's Sea Food. The food is very tasty and the price right and you receive a good bit for the price.

I've tried and tried and tried yet again but Johns seafood is just not the place for me. The prices are very reasonable but the food taste like burnt crap on a stick. I've tried several dishes and each time the food had a burnt taste to it as though it was scorched and not only does your food taste scorched, your clothes will smell scorched as well when you exit the door. I had to immediately go home and change clothes so I wouldn't smell like I was selling plates at a fish fry.

Good food but bad location. I suggest you call ahead and order your food. Everything on the menu is good from pork chop sandwich to shrimp sandwich. They have fried rice along with other Chinese food.

Watch your drink. John's will sell expired sodas. Twice I have gone there and purchased expired soda. In addition the green salad is always fresh. Only thing is you can't serve your own dressing. They dress your salad. The order I placed was shrimp and oysters. The oysters were okay however the butterfly styled fried shrimp were not tasty and fried hard. There was no taste of freshness. The slice of bread on the plate was stale. I am not going to John's again

OMG!!!! A previous reviewer mentioned the not-so-great location, but the food my friends makes up for it. We had just arrived and saw the sign for Bellue's off I-110. Unfortunately, Bellue's was closed (Sunday) and we happened to see John's Seafood about 2 blocks away. In my humble opinion, this is about as authentic LA food as it gets: The seafood gumbo simply divine, the Po'Boy plain awesome! Highly recommend it for a (daylight) lunch stop!
