Joe’s Italian Ristorante

If you're looking for a place so good it might make you reconsider your life choices, Joe's is it. The pasta? So perfect it tastes like an old Italian grandma whispered ancient secrets into the sauce. The garlic bread? So buttery and crisp, I almost left my wife for it. The service? Let's just say they treated me better than my own family does at Thanksgiving.Honestly, if my last meal on Earth isn't from Joe's, I'm coming back to haunt the chef who denied me. 10/10, would betray my diet again...

Joe's Italian Ristorante is in the middle of a shopping center and easy to find with plenty of parking in front. It does have an uncovered outdoor patio dining area in front but we sat inside in one of two dining rooms. When we arrived last Saturday night it wasn't busy as the hostess placed us in a booth. I ordered the chicken Cremora mushroom dinner for $17. First to arrive was a complimentary bread basket of large and buttered rolls and the food arrived about 15 minutes later. My meal was exactly what I wanted. It had a delicious white cream sauce with sliced mushrooms and ground pepper over boneless chicken breasts and spaghetti. It was very good tasting comfort food that I thoroughly enjoyed. That sauce had a peppery slant and those rolls were delicious too. During the meal we received very friendly table service.This meal was a real value at that price as it was filling and tasty. I would be happy to return to Joe's. If you are in the Hammond/Ponchatoula area this is a very good place to get your Italian fixation satisfied.

We love love love Joe's Italian. The service is always fast, efficient and FRIENDLY. Large portions, and fair prices. And, the spaghetti with meat sauce is the best around. And, the little fresh bread rolls with dipping oil........amazing.

If you love Italian food, this has to be on your list to try. I have been to Joe's at least two handful of times. I always try get a different kind of chicken dish and by far the chicken piccata is my favorite. I have a lot been told their crawfish Monica is very good. Their pizza is the best in hammond/ponchatoula. The service is always great, they are never too busy and the vibe is very nice and friendly. Also don't forget to get their bread knots they are delicious.

I had been wanting to try this place for a while! Most notable was the generous portion of food. The food tasted great and the service was good. Will be back to try more menu items! There are plenty menu options.

First time here. Food was phenomenal and Anna Belle, our server, was just fabulous. We started with their fantastic rolls, which are made fresh daily, followed by a house salad and Tour of Italy entree. All was fresh and delicious. So full but took home a piece of lemoncello cake!

The dipping sauce and bread. Oh my!! Veal Parmesan so good. Our waitress was so bubbly and friendly. TheMusic was so Italian great oldies. We will definitely be back.

The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious as usual! The restaurant is always clean.

Great food no matter the choice. Everything I've ordered here is cooked to perfection with large servings. Don't forget the oil dipping sauce for the freshly baked bread rolls. The servers and the owners treat you like family. I'll be back anytime I'm wanting Italian!! Great restaurant
