Jeanie's It's All Good

Boy were we in for a treat today!We stopped at Jeannie's right before close of day. I had the "small" catfish (6 pieces of perfectly seasoned catfish) plate lunch and my husband got the chicken fried steak lunch. We were warmly welcomed. The staff was fantastic. The atmosphere quaint. Go see Jeannie and Vanessa for a great meal!!

Didn't go in. Was afraid it would be racially biased. Not sure it was, but didn't want to take any chances.

Never disappoints. Been here a few times and always had the daily plate lunch special. It's all good! Plus the service and staff are fantasticAnd all at a reasonable price

What an amazing find!!!!! We just happen to come across this hidden gem. The staff was amazing especially our waitress Q she was wonderful. The food let me tell you I was so full and still keep eating. Not sure I have had fried chicken any better anywhere. No two bite chicken here it's nice size pieces. The owner goes out of her way to speak to all of her customers and make them feel welcome. We were spoke to as soon as we walked into the door and told goodbye as we were leaving. Have been there multiple times now and will continue to go back..

We were group of nine, who drove over from Baton Rouge before going to Strawberry Festival. Q took amazing care of all our needs and was so grateful for her giving spirit! The food....seafood sampler was scrumptious and not salty, so I could actually enjoy without thinking I was having a heart attack. I will definitely drive back to enjoy the gem of a place!

We stopped by on our way home from New Orleans. W was our waitress... she couldn't have been nicer. I ordered pancakes and sausage Pattie's. Hubby ordered eggs over easy, biscuits, hash browns and sausage links. Everything was perfect except the sausage patties were paper thin and the link sausage was two 1 inch pieces cut in half. The pancakes were super fluffy. Service was a little slow but we were total it was from being short staffed.

Great first experience.... Q was our server and was awesome, very pleasant and attentive.The food was great, hot and quick... couldn't ask for anything more.Jeanie the owner was at the counter and super nice and interactive with all of the customers, even tho this was our first time I felt like I was welcomed as a regular!!!Will be back!!

Awesome food and service. Great atmosphere. Rasy access. Down home country cooking and a variety of other things. Wonderful place to relax and eat.

Food was good but everything was room temperature. Food should come out warm at best. Service was not the best.

The breakfast is my absolute favorite. Everything else is okay for my liking. The service is great and the servers are top notch!
