My husband and I ordered the fish box. It was plenty enough for 2 people. We even brought a few pieces home. The fish was hot and delicious. The fries were very good. The garlic bread was toasty but not hard. We will be back.

On our return to NOLA, I decided to hit up an old favorite... Jam's. Previously I had only ever had a takeout poboy for lunch, but decided to dine in with the family. The food is good, and service is good. Generally, the prices are good. However, they pulled some shady crap on this most recent visit, and I can't possibly give more than 3 stars with that behavior. The menu has fountain drinks at $2.20 and bottled water for $1.35. My husband and I have been trying to avoid drinking coke etc, so we each ordered a water. The server didn't ask whether we wanted tap or bottled, brought tap, and I assumed it was free (after all, it's just tap water). We enjoyed our meal, then received the bill, with $2.20 each for the water. Had that been advertised anywhere, we would have chosen the bottled water.So, warning to anyone going to Jam's and dining in - don't order water. Or specify that you want bottled water.

Stopped by little hole in wall place and decided to try it. Pleasantly surprised by how good roast beef supreme was. Roast beef poboy with onion rings on top. Yummy. Fries were also great. Very friendly people too. I will be back!

A little hole in the wall (Best places to eat) on Airline and Labarre. From the time I walked in the customer service was excellent. The food was delicious. The fries were good and hot. The Philly was delicious and the bread was great. Great combination. Highly recommend.

Friendly staff, was a bit empty for Friday night but I see people ordering food as catering. Small dining area but lots of staff. Roast beef po was good with light but darken bread and strong au jus flavor. Everything was great but after wards I did get a response from my stomach. Probably just coincidence, but kitchen staff was very over energetic about the long weekend. Probably not too bad place, stay open a little longer than some others.

My 3rd time ordering from this place, and so far so excellent!!! Food was hot, fresh, and delicious. If ever carving a good PO-Boys for a reasonable price, check them out. They PO-Boys are full of meat/seafood.

Don't get order the way you specify owner unconcerned about good customer service. Place is very small for dine in and prices very high, food not worth it. I'll never return. My order was simple each time and they messed it up.

I love this place from top to bottom if I could move in and never leave I would. I know everything is prepared fresh the mashed potatoes are not out of the box. The potatoes are boiled and peeled and it's fresh homemade mashed potatoes. The shrimp are peeled and deveined they are big beautiful fresh shrimp. The burgers are handmade and several of the dressings are handmade, I haven't eaten anything here that I would not eat over and over again there's a reason the same people keep coming back and keep ordering deliveries and catering. Chef knows what he's doing in the kitchen along with his wife. Just like any restaurant it can get chaotic in the kitchen at points, but for the majority of the time it's quick quiet work preparing the food that goes out to people who order over and over again, and they do that for a reason. I feel like some reviews are people who are never satisfied no matter what however it does not affect the restaurant and the large amount of customers who order repeatedly sometimes daily Chef throws down in the kitchen and Lori keeps the place running smoothly would highly recommend 100% there's not one item on the menu that I wouldn't order over and over again

No flavor. Ordered 3 meals and all were awful. (Red beans, gumbo, and Hamburger Steak). When I reviewed they gave me $5.00 off from their restaurant again. I dont want to order there again. Highly would not recommend.
