Waited 30 minutes and food was COLD. I couldn't even get a refill on coffee. Our server seemed more interested in talking than doing her job. I like to support local places and always seek them out when traveling but never again on this one.

I wanted a big breakfast after working all night, and I ordered the James special. You get two eggs a small bowl of grits toast, or a biscuit, three thick slices of bacon, hash browns and a dinner plate sized pancake! Honestly it was great! Way more than I could eat and I gave it a hearty try! The place is clean the staff is super friendly everyone was smiling and having fun, I'm sure they've been working together for a long time. It's a big place and the tables are spaced out where your not on top of the people next to you. There were a bunch of regulars cutting up, I like that. It's well lit, smells like an old diner should, I really enjoyed my visit and plan on trying lunch there soon!!!

My wife and I picked this place for breakfast because they have grits. Hands-down one of the best breakfast as we've had in years. Make sure you ask for the red gravy with the biscuit. The white gravy is also wonderful as well. The staff here are courteous. Thanks Courtney for doing such a great job of serving us and keeping our coffee filled with that wonderful community coffee. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anybody for a good southern breakfast.

After 5 years of not visiting bc of a bad experience... I decided to give this place another try.. I was NOT disappointed. Our waitress Tammy was very quick to get our order and was very polite. I enjoyed the perfectly cooked OM eggs. The grits are better than Waffle House but not quite enough (small bowl). The biscuit reminded me of my grandmas.. I'll be back here more often now that I know they have turned things around!

Building could use a little cleaning and updating, but the overall experience was great. Attentive server and reasonably priced and great tasting food. Our table had grilled shrimp, hamburger steak and chicken fried steak with gravy. No complaints from anyone.

Stopped in for breakfast no hostess so it's seat yourself and it took about 10 minutes to get noticed by anyone but when the waitress did take our order it came out pretty fast. my husband got the $4.99 breakfast special which consists of 2 eggs, grits and choice of 1 biscuit or toast he got the biscuit. The biscuit was mediocre but the eggs were good and he upgraded the grits for hashbrowns which changed the price to $5.99, small portion but tasty. I got the eggs with hashbrowns, toast and country fried steak for $9.99 everything was good. The atmosphere was old local spot not much to look at here, they had a sign that said wifi so I'm assuming there was. No tv's no music just the sound of other customers conversation's and the cook screaming ORDER UP !

Apparently I look like my servers ex husband or something. Courtney the ticket said. She would be laughing and joking with the crew and then literally lose all semblance of a personality as she headed to my table. Liver and onions were good. Decent pricing but not worth feeling like you are bothering the employees. I'll go to IHOP or something next time.

This place was okay. Once you step in you could clearly tell it use to be something bigger. They had plenty of tables and was about at Half capacity when we wondered in there. We was told to seat ourselves because that's the type of good old fashioned home town stuff this place gives off. Which is good! It took forever for a waitress to come over and give us menus and even before that she took our drink order. Once we ordered food our drinks came and so did our check, no backing out now lol. The hash browns was undercooked and my over medium eggs was more over easy. The toast, grits and his scrambled eggs was all great! The waitress was very kind but seemed to be overwhelmed which was shocking because they wasn't that busy. But hey, maybe she was just having a bad morning. We tipped and paid our bill. 10 minutes later I got sick from my food. I do t think we personally will be back again for breakfast. Maybe try out a lunch when I forget about getting sick.

There was a lot of food. It was okay. We purchased the pork chops fried and smothered. The broccoli and cheese were delicious. My husband enjoyed the banana pudding.
