Bodega, corner store, however you call it.. this is where you can stop by and buy honestly anything including a meal. Cute little store which is family owned and ran a couple shelves of these essentials and liquor on the walls. I was waiting for the krewe of red beans and dead beans to pass when the hunger struck me and my stomach wanted something more than the 6 pack I was about to consume. So my friend directed me to this joint where I grabbed a hot sausage poboy and a shrimp poboy and other things as well. The store is quite small so you can find anything in 2 seconds. They rung me up and I wait.. wait patiently until they say "shrimp on French ready" I grabs the goods and head back to our spot. Service was great and it's what you expect from the corner store ya know? But the most delightful surprise came from the food. The French baguette super soft with a nice crunch, ice berg lettuce, mayo, tomatoes,( also added cheese because why not) melted right in to the already over stuffed poboy. Shrimps were plentiful and popped right in after I opened the package. My only regret is that I couldn't get a picture, but what I do have is a picture of my first fourloko that I bought from them which also helped me with a good time.
