Beautiful weather in New Orleans today and decided to have a picnic in my backyard, so of course I stopped by J&J to grab a couple pounds of boiled crawfish and sausage for the occasion.No line, and I could smell the boil from the Main Street! Now, it's still early in the season so it was $8.99/lb but still worth it. Crawfish was juicy, flavorful, with tolerable spice! Listen, this is NOT a dine-in type of place, so get yours and find you somewhere else to congregate lolI love that it's a smaller, family owned business because the customer service is a 10, ALWAYS.

The "Best" seafood in Nawlins. I drive to J &J's from the east bank to purchase my seafood. The food is well seasoned without having MSG! The Turkey necks and corn are always delicious. With every penny and locally owned! I had crawfish from them yesterday and I am going back today to get more!

Crawfish are top tier. Flavor and spices are there. I will definitely be back. Gotta be the best on the westbank hands down!!

First there is no dining inside. Second there is no dining outside. I come from out of state and was told this was the place for crawfish..... When I arrived at 12:15 they said crawfish wouldn't be ready till 1:00. My Uber driver already and I was annoyed but wanted to try it since it was hyped up place from a couple locals. At 1:15 I finally got some crawfish went over to the side where they have a little bar and decided to try a piece of corn while I waited on my ride. I was told I couldn't eat here it was to go only. The crawfish was good but I've had better. The corn and potatoes did not taste fresh out the pot. The sausage was not good at all. Idk maybe it just all rubbed me wrong but I def wouldn't recommend.

Good crawfish. Quick service. The shrimp were good but on the spicy side. Food had good flavor, especially the corn and potatoes. Would go again

While the crawfish is good sometimes, the customer service is horrible. I've been here multiple times. I've had some good experiences, but more negative encounters than good. I value customer service because your food can be mediocre, as many places in New Orleans' food industry can be, but your customer service will keep you in business and will help to set you apart from other places. In addition, it's not a good look to lie about whether or not you have fresh crawfish coming out. Almost everyone's preference would be been to wait for fresh crawfish. After asking, I was told they were done boiling crawfish for the day at 2:15 pm, even they close at 7 pm. Of course after I asked this question and paid, the gentleman that boils the crawfish coincidentally asked his coworkers if they were ready for a new batch to be brought out and of course he was silenced right away.I encourage J&J Seafood to provide a better experience for customers. I personally won't be back, but I do wish them well.

SPICY and flavorful!!! The crawfish are amazing and the turkey necks are tasty!!! Boiled shrimp and neck bones are also a hit. Give it a try.

It was delicious local place. The service was fast, but they could be friendlier/welcoming. It is a to go place so you'll have to find a place to eat your food if your visiting from out of town.

Always have a certain time that crawfish is going to be ready... 1:00, 1:15, 2pm. Will not be back again. I have been going to this place for crawfish for years and lately between attitudes, price/lb and not having crawfish ready until after a certain time it's getting ridiculous. My patience with this food establishment has run thin and non existent.
