Hub City Diner

Great family diner. Down home cooking. Plate lunches are from Momma's kitchen. Everything on the menu is delicious.

The gumbo was good and the salad with grilled chicken and house vinaigrette was nice. The staff were super chatty college age kids but very nice. Would definitely return to try more, it was late and we were tired so it was a quick and easy meal. Very cute 50's diner vibe with an antique jukebox. Recommend!

I loved the decoration and vibe of this restaurant. I also appreciated when we went on a Sunday at noon we had the option to pick from the breakfast or lunch menu. My boyfriend thought his breakfast platter was a great deal and the quality of his food was great. I had the blackened catfish salad and the salad and fish was nice and fresh. I'm docking one star because the fish was very salty. I had to get my boyfriend to try it and he agreed.

Great old fashioned Dinner. Good Bloody Mary's. The 2x2x2 is fantastic and a lot of food for a good price. Huge pancakes and the dinner brown potatoes taste great Great service.

Great diner food! The Diner Burger is very good and I usually get the chicken and sausage gumbo when I can. Service is great and fast.

So really cute diner. Food was AMAZING (try the Reuben) and wait staff was so friendly. Highly recommended.

Love Hub City Diner. Their Fried Green Tomatoes are great, and I also love their Beignets. Hubby loves the huge plate lunches. Service is good and the prices are reasonable. Great for families and singles.

Ya want some good food? They got you covered! Bea and Cort took care of us here! Cort took time to explain what came with what, how it came what sold best and was cheerful about it! The food is awesome! The place has a fifties vibe and it's clean! There's like 3 dining areas we sat in the front near the kitchen. We both had hamburger steaks Julie had rice and I had mashed potatoes. Green beans are really good and Julie liked the steamed broccoli. We both had Sundays for desert too! We are for sure going to come back for another visit!!

Never disappoints! Whether for breakfast or lunch meals, you will love your experience at Hub City Diner. Maybe the only disadvantage is when you have to wait to get in! But enjoy your amazing meal- I love their egg specialties, sandwiches, blue plate specials-- and the onion rings! And the BISCUITS!!! Fantastic!!

Love their fried mushrooms. I live in New Iberia and whenever we are in Lafayette and close to the diner we make sure to stop and order their fried mushrooms. I do miss their Alfredo with shrimp, wish they would bring it back.
