House of Seafood Express

When I got there, I was immediately able to get serviced. I ordered the shrimp and fish basket. This came with a 2-piece fish with 4 jumbo shrimp , french fries and hush puppies and a side of coleslaw. I was so impressed with the price that I actually bought 2 of them. It was $9.99 for the lunch special. There's a small seating area outside with traffic passing by but definitely isn't distracting . So if you're looking for a place to eat with some good food and real gulf Shrimp and fish, I'd highly recommend you drop by the Lambert's Express formally named the "house of seafood express."

Had the worse case of food poisoning from this place. Bad seafood is nothing to play with.

emerson d i really know they will not gitve out raw or bad food. you must of had a stomach virus.

Stopped by on our way thru Bogalusa last night and thought we would give them a try. Gotta say we were extremely happy. I had the seafood poboy which was a combination of shrimp, oyster and fish while my wife had the shrimp poboy. All of the seafood was hot and freshly prepared for the order. Good size shrimp, big chunks of catfish and oysters were cooked perfect. It was late Sunday and they were out of gumbo, can't wait to try it. Will most definitely be back as we pass thru regularly. Be aware orders are pick up only as there is no seating.
