Hook Seafood and Wings - Baton Rouge

Ok now Hook, the chicken is tasty and it's seasoned well but we need to talk aesthetics. Pull out the carpet and put in different furniture maybe and that might help with the smell. Service was good and they were friendly. Happy Yelping.

I love how they season the food. For a while I would get the corn nuggets. They have a lot of different combinations to pick from that's why I like them. The food is always fresh, the drive thru line is long, they do have good parking, and the inside is clean.

Got the grilled option for the fish and shrimp. The fish and shrimp and fish was great, that's it. The bottoms of the broccoli was not what I wanted. Still would get the fish and shrimp again though.

Gizzards were fire. Employees are all nice and quick with the orders even though their drive thru line was backed up as hell. Overall good food and good service. I'm glad they're open late too (until midnight) which is perfect because I get out of school at like 9pm so it's convenient if you don't want fast food at that time.

I love the drive through option to get whole fried catfish. It can take a while but it's worth it. This is a great concept. There are selections for many.

I love this place! The fried gizzards and okra are to die for! Everything is cook to order so there is a bit of a wait but it's worth it! They are open late night! The young ladies at the drive are pretty cool! I've tried the shrimp and chicken wings; they were good but the gizzards are my favorite! They have just the right amount of seasoning, they are tender! I want some now! Lol

I've come here twice to get their $5 10 shrimp and fries deal. The first time was pretty late, maybe 11pm, and because everything is fresh and they were pretty busy, I had to wait a while. However, the food was delicious and came out really hot. The next time I went, it was around 5pm and they were still busy but the wait time was not nearly as long (5 minutes). No matter, the food is really good and worth the wait. I def will be returning.

OK, if you're looking for a great place for fried fish and fried chicken you found it. The prices are amazing and the food is excellent. There was a substantial wait for my order to be prepared. I ordered through GrubHub and they were about 20 minutes longer than they were supposed to be. I would suggest waiting and just ordering when you arrive. It seems like that was a quicker alternative. Also they have daily specials and specials were not an option with GrubHub.The food was really good. Just good old cheap soul food.

Road trip through several gulf coast states and wanted to only visit local spots. Found this one completely by accident. Drive through only, and they had a line - always a good sign! Fish was flaky, shrimp had a great fresh taste, and the wings could have been a small meal on their own. Well worth the price, and even though all food was cooked to order they kept the line going quickly.

I had been avoiding this place for a minute, due to location, but much to my surprise after trying it, the wings were delicious! Another perk is they say open late, so they are perfect for night time meals.
