Half Moon Bar & Grill

This place caught my eye because of their Turkish Pizza! I've had this yummy dish in Minnesota and this is the first time I've seen it in New Orleans!The owner is Turkish so you know the food is authentic and it did not disappoint! It came out super fresh and super good! And you cannot beat the price of $7.50! We also tried the hummus which was freshly made and came with pita slices.The restaurant is located inside of the bar. You have to walk through the bar to get there but it has it's only seating space. There are a few tables to sit at and you order at the counter. Service: Good service! You order at the counter and the food is brought right to you.Drinks: Plenty of options at the bar! We ordered our beers at the bar and then brought them over to the restaurant.Parking: Street parking.Pets: It seems you can bring dogs into the bar, but I'm not sure about the restaurant.

Just had the Turkish Pizza at Half Moon Bar and Grill, and it's absolutely delicious! Nestled in the back, this hidden gem offers some of the best pizza I've ever tasted. The flavors are out of this world. The wonderful Turkish owners behind this amazing dish are incredible and have built something truly special. Everyone in New Orleans needs to try this!Don't forget to roll it up!!!!

I had Pizza and Beignets delivered to my Hotel via Uber Eats and every was very good and the Pizza was hot and the beignets were fresh and Delicious!!

Kitchen never open, but a good neighborhood bar. Nice patio, not particularly cheap or expensive.

This place is the best! The food is consistently great and the people are very sweet. They had missed an item last time I ordered (the mozzarella sticks, which are the best I've had anywhere) so this time they included an extra treat with a nice note thanking me for my order, which was such a sweet surprise. The churros were warm and delicious! Recommend just about anything on the menu, especially the pizza and burgers!

Food was great we had the Turkish flatbread was very good spicy but not on a too hot level. Great little bar with character love the brick walls, staff super friendly. Highly recommend

I have been to half moon for a long time in my life and can say that this place has made some changes over the years for the better. The patio being a big example. Came here with some friends after a long day and looking for some food. The bartender was very cool, and beyond helpful! You have to go to the side by the pool tables to order your food, but let me tell you that the food was pretty dope!I ordered the cheese sticks, cheese fries minus queso, and a pizza. All of it and I mean all of it was good! The pizza is pretty good but those cheese fries were the best. Totally worth the stop, give it a try!

Fantastic neighborhood bar, with affordable booze and great food. Just had the chicken and spinach pizza w feta and picked peppers. Its da bomb, as is all their food. Been come for years, and will continue to do so!

The Turkish Pizza they serve in the Cafe inside the back of the bar is amazing!! Everyone should try it. They have excellent service as well.

Bald bartender served about ten white people infront of me after passing me up multiple times and then told me that it wasn't his problem that he didn't provide me with service. And even after giving him my order he took two different peoples orders after ignoring me like he was trying to prove a point.I've always looked at this bar while passing by excited to come in at some point, but after this experience I probably won't be coming back. It was actually wild .0 stars
