Food is great and staff is friendly. I recommend the blackened shrimp Po-Boy. It's unique and flavorful but a bit lighter than the fried.

I haven't been here in a while but the gumbo at this restaurant is so freaking good and the catfish is even better. I would definitely suggest as restaurants of family and friends and if you have not been what are you waiting for?!

They have one of the best crab soups I have ever tasted. Full of crab meat...very good. Also had the philly sandwich which we split a 4" and the onion rings, which were by far the best.Very pleased with this establishment. It was very busy and not too big but they have great food.Would recommend.

Griffin's makes a darn good po-boy.While in Houma we needed a good but casual lunch spot. Griffin's was recommended and fit our needs perfectly.Let me start by saying that people in Houma are some of the most friendly in Louisiana. Everyone I have dealt with has been so nice and helpful. I am sure there are some rude people, but I have yet to encounter any.Now back to the review.Griffin's is a casual restaurant with an outdoor deck. It was super hot so we gladly sat inside. Our waitress greeted us and took our order. We all ordered Po-Boys. I ordered a prime rib philly cheese steak. It was awesome. It was blackened prime rib with peppers, onions and cheese. This thing was wonderful. The steak had a good spice and was very juicy. I highly recommend this sandwich.Service was very good. The waitress referred to us by the name bay, which was a nice touch. If you're in Houma, check out Griffin's. In fact, I can't wait to go back.

I recommend their Philly Cheese Prime Rib sandwich with chipotle sauce on the side. You won't be let down. I have gotten it a few times and only that since it is so good, I can't bring myself to try something new. Parking is provide but also great for takeout.

Great poboys. Love the fried bacon-wrapped shrimp poboy, as well as the blackened shrimp poboy. Crab bisque is pretty good, too.

This is such a cute spot, makes me feel at home. The spinach dip comes with little cups of salsa and sour cream, I definitely recommend exploring those mixtures if you're into that. The bacon wrapped shrimp poboy was DELICIOUS! Be prepared, it's huge! Also, Keyanna was a fabulous waitress, very attentive, brought refills quickly and frequently, and she made us laugh. It's nice feeling comfortable with your waitress and being able to hold a conversation.

My first restaurant experience in Houma took me to this place. As I walked in, the set-up seemed more bar-ish than restaurant-ish. Decor/environment was nothing super impressive, but who cares. I was promptly greeted and sat in a booth by the window. As I was looking at the menu, I was presented with a vast array of options, all of the fried type. But, I'm not complaining. I decided on the platter that came with fried catfish, fried popcorn shrimp, and fried bacon wrapped shrimp. I chose potato salad as my side. It also came with a salad. The salad was just shredded iceburg lettuce, like the kind that most people would put on a taco. It had diced tomato on it, like the kind that most people would put on a taco. I put french and ranch dressing on it, and it was edible.I guess that it is pretty typical of Southern potato salad to be pureed? The flavor was good, but I'm just not a huge fan of the baby food consistency potato salad that I have experienced at a few other restaurants in the south. There were some chunks of potato in it. I guess that I'm just not accustomed to the southern way of making potato salad. The catfish, shrimp, and bacon wrapped shrimp were tasty. They were a bit salty to suit my taste, but that tends to happen with fried foods. Out of everything, I would say that the bacon wrapped shrimp were my favorite. But, then again, bacon makes everything better. Everything else was good.
